Hey guys I've saw a few people mention how to much negative space is a bad thing etc and I was wanting to find more info. Just new to pumping and trying to educate myself in every aspect and was having trouble locating a post that specifically describes what the issue is.

Also I'm currently using the x30 extreme and my current stats are bpel 5.25" and eg is 4.75". Now when I use the bm I have a difficult time staying hard so therefore I do have a lot of negative space as I'm no where near ackibf the tube or filling it up in length. Also one other thing is I'm a weird person I guess but my fsl is actually less then my bpel and it's not because of how hard I stretch when measuring trust me. So if I'm not hard going into the bm I obviously don't take up as much room as I would if erect. Any info on this I'd appreciate or if there are other post add the link I'm just wanting to learn more. Sorry if this is a dumb question to some.

One last thing I've also seen someone mention wearing a sleeve in the bm and I have tons of sleeves so was wanting to know what's the benefits of this?

I made a thread years back on how to deal with negative space. First, either get an X-treme or a wine-vac, which you have already done. Next, use a stress ball to fill in negative space in length. These balls are soft and waterproof and will no interrupt vacuum, they will fill in negative space and allow for greater expansion.

I'd think the purpose of the ball taking-up negative space would be to increase available pressure, but with either The VV Wine mod or The Extreme model, this wouldn't be an issue. The best results (for me, at least) is going into the cylinder with as high an EQ as possible and maintaining it for as long as possible. If you're struggling with this aspect, I suggest practice edging and really getting in-tune with what works for you. As Mike has mentioned in the past, taking a 1/4 or 1/2 of Viagra can always help. I don't utilize SSJ's between pumping sets, (I jelq and squeeze the WR out), but others have utilized this with good results. Personally, always striving for more intensity and reaching further and further into the cylinder have yielded the best results.
Best of luck!

Thanks guys for the answers. Tonight I broke down and watched some so I could get a 100% erection before entering. Hated to do it but I needed to see the difference and damn I loved how it felt. Great expansion also. For now I'm just going to do regular jelqs in between sets and keep my bm use to m-w-f until completely conditioned to pumping. Thanks for all the help and support

That was my initial thought but he said he had an Extreme????

Yes I do have a extreme. I was simply curious on why having to much negative space was a bad thing. I've seen you mention it a few times dld so since I've just recently got into pumping I was researching around and it was a question I could not find a direct answer to. Not that I was worried about having to much I feel as though I'm right where I should be in the xx30.

Oh, OK I understand. The Wine-Vac modification and the Extreme came after the Stress Ball. With a wine-vac or the hand ball negative space will NOT be an issue. Even if you went with an X50 the wine-vac would still bring expansion.

The negative space is an issue with an air pump. Water is incompressible, so it has no effect on the vacuum if there is more space in the cylinder, as long as there isn't air in it. With an air pump, the more space you have in the cylinder, the weaker your vacuum will be since air can expand and contract. This is also why you want as little air in the bathmate as possible to keep your vacuum strong. Hope that helps.

Thanks dld and thatdude512 I understand now. Like I said I was just curious and researching and it was a question that came to mind.

No problems Smitty!

I remember dld once said if there is too much negative space inside the pump, you can get a small silicone ball or something like that and put it inside the pump while doing your session to reduce the space.

There is also now the BathMate Wide Boy which is a X30 with a much wider space for girth. If you are dealing with negative space in your X30 you can upgrade to a X30 WideBoy that will handle more girth in a similar length tube. This will most likely make its way across the line, I am betting it is going tp based on the success of the Wide Boy.

What are the measurements for the new x30 wide boy?

I believe 8.5 x 7 but I will confirm that to be sure.

Dang that's a huge size for sure! Can't wait to be using that!

With the right amount of dedication and consistency, you will get there.

No doubt! This will be a very good thing for men who max girth before length, allowing them to stick with one pump and never having to upgrade. It is pretty bad ass looking too. Almost like a shortened Goliath.

looks squatty to me :)

The Greeks had some formula for proportions that were most pleasing to the eye...I think they called it 'The Golden Mean'. For our PE endeavors, that would loosely translate to our girth being 75% of our length...my new BPEL goal needs to be 9.33" now, grrr (effin' Greeks and their math, lol)

I just looked it up. Its called the Golden Ratio and the math to figure it out is weird.
