Well since I am hanging only SO and OTS I figured the best way for me to [words=http://www.phallosan.com/shop/catalog/default.php?z=eNortjIxtVKyL0pNszWxMFcrSSxKTy2JL0hMT7U1UisoykyxtbBQSy4tLsnPjS8uKcrMS7dVsgZcMMpbEbo%2C]ADS[/words] would be an OTL variant, which is why I [words=http://www.phallosan.com/shop/catalog/default.php?z=eNortjIxtVKyL0pNszWxMFcrSSxKTy2JL0hMT7U1UisoykyxtbBQSy4tLsnPjS8uKcrMS7dVsgZcMMpbEbo%2C]ADS[/words] around my waist. Great thread!
I am considering buying one of the comercially available vacuum hangers too. Either Monkeybars Vacu-hanger, the Max-Vac, or maybe even the Grip.

Personally, I like the no-nonsense vacuum-pump-less design of the vacu-hanger, but I understand that the Max-Vac can be used the vacuum-pump-less-way too.

From what I can see, both the Vacu-hanger and the Grip systems come with constriction sleeves. Are these to minimize fluid buildup or what?
What are your opinions on these? Are they needed for hanging heavier weights, or is that simply done by making your unit used to the higher pressures?

And then I have a question about that electrical tape thingy used by the grip users: Why is that needed? Do you put the tape directly on the penis, because the seal between sleeve and tape is better than between sleeve and skin? Or have I misunderstood what this taping thing is all about.

When looking at the Grip web site, it seems that there are lots of parts in the economy package. What does a basic setup for hanging consist of? (What is the G-Flex sleeves and the hour-glass shaped sheaths needed for, respectively?)

Any further input you may have on this are really apprechiated.

i would have probably bought the max-vac myself, but seeing as how they are out of order and i dunno when the max-vac2 is coming out, i went with the vacu-hanger by autoextender instead.

after trying it out for the first time, i thought i had made a big mistake, but after a couple trial sessions of getting used to it, i'm loving the vacu-hanger now.

i can take it on and off in seconds and it's small enough to keep hidden from my nosy kid.

i think in the past there has been concern over the strength of the sleeves themselves which come with it, but mine is holding up nicely and i'm currently hanging 10lbs without any problems.

so far i've been hanging for at least one hour a day, plus i've been using it on and off as an [words=http://www.phallosan.com/shop/catalog/default.php?z=eNortjIxtVKyL0pNszWxMFcrSSxKTy2JL0hMT7U1UisoykyxtbBQSy4tLsnPjS8uKcrMS7dVsgZcMMpbEbo%2C]ads[/words] whenever i can.

out of all my sessions so far, i've only had fluid build-up once, so i've personally found no use for the constriction sleeve yet.

anyways, i haven't tried any of the other vacuum hangers, so i can't tell you how good or bad they are. i do know that if you get a vacu-hanger, i doubt you'll be disappointed.:)

Here's what I wrote in another forum about the max-vac to BusyMan.
"It sure beats the hell out of the Wench. It takes some time getting used too but I think it does a very good job. I hang with the no-handpump method. It is more expensive than the Vacu-hanger but I believe it is of slightly better quality. BTC is now selling the Max-Vac II for $99. He had a link in the forum. If you can I would go for that one b/c it is supposed to be new and improved. If you do decide to go with a Max-Vac don't buy the pump b/c, 1.) You can hang without the pump, I think BTC has hung up to 20 or 30 lbs, and 2.) there are cheaper alternatives.

I still think that its way too expensive for a plastic cup and some plastic sheaths but I didn't want to have to go through the hassle of making something and I think I would of still ended up buying a commercial hanger. I've heard good news from the Vacu-hanger and the Grip. I started a thread at [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] when I was deciding what to buy so you can read that b/c you can hear different perspectives. I ultimately went with the Max-Vac b/c it looked more professional, has excellent customer service, and an "active" forum."

And about the sheaths.

I'm not so sure how long those sheaths last so if someone with more experience would comment that would make this thread better. I also thought I made a mistake in buying the max-vac because at one point it was losing suction and kept popping off. The problem was my inexperience but I think I have a good grasp on how to use it now and i couldn't be happier. The grip, Max-vac, and vacu-hanger are all excellent hangers and will all get the job done so the decision should come down to warranty, price, durability, customer service and amount of information. I ultimately choose the Max-Vac and have purchased the Max-Vac II. I'm not sure if that was a good idea but I will see when it comes in.
 
i can get 2 months usage out of the sheaths based on 1 hour / day hanging, although you will want new sheaths for [words=http://www.phallosan.com/shop/catalog/default.php?z=eNortjIxtVKyL0pNszWxMFcrSSxKTy2JL0hMT7U1UisoykyxtbBQSy4tLsnPjS8uKcrMS7dVsgZcMMpbEbo%2C]ads[/words] so they prob wont last as long then

You think it would retain the proper vacuum ?? The guys making and selling these things are making a killing. My girlfriend has done molds and stuff like that, and when she looked at TheGRIP system she said it probably would take no more than $25 to make a system like that, at the most.
