I would like to comment and maybe expand a bit on some of your statements.
I'm not here to down talk BIB and his ideas. I do understand his mentality though. He's coming from the angle of user comfort. If you are going to hang and then do girth work, or vice versa, chances are your penis will be sore from the hanging or girth work.
Actually, that isn't the reason. Bigger believes that Girth work, well, increases girth, which makes it harder to stretch ie a thin rope is easier to stretch than a thick one. I've read several of his posts in this regard and he's never referred to comfort as part of his reasoning.

Seems logical, but so do some of the other theories. Anyway, as to weather or not doing girth work and length work together is counterproductive, I simply don't know.
Sure, like some men will try to argue, you can hang for 15-20 minutes at a time. However, once again, you're using very little real resistance. In the same amount of time, you could get a LOT more resistance with your hands, and on more advanced stretches which use leverage and even the legs, much more.
True enough, you can definitely pull harder with your hands, but certainly not for 15-20 minutes. At least I can't. I did mess around with manual stretching years ago, but found it painful and tiring. There was often slippage due to the fact that while I have a decent girth in the shaft of my penis, the head is relatively small. So there just isn't enough to grab and get a firm grip. So, I resorted to other means ie

If I had it to do over, I'd have gone with a manual stretching routine, honest.
Do you think that with a 4-year layoff, it might be just like starting over? Still, how to do the heavy manual stretches with the problems I've outlined. Perhaps you know of some way to make manual stretches easier in terms of a comfortable grip?
