Hi,

After being lazy for many months, I finally decided to post my Malehanger's progress log. But first, here’s some little background info about me and my own MH’s review after more than 4 months using it.

Background :

I've started doing PE in March 2010, using manual stretches (Newbie routine for length + Jelqs). If my length measurement was correct I was 7" BPEL at that time (5.7" MSEG). After 6 Months, I had gained half an inch and reached 7.5 inches and I was pretty happy about it ! (the "fuck that works !" effect :))

That’s when I bought a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]BM[/words] (two actually, adding a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Goliath[/words] since the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Hercules[/words] became too small, too fast girth wise) and started clamping, compression squeezes, ulis, going nuts about getting more girth (even though I read many posts with BIG CAPITAL WARNINGS saying Length first ! then Girth !). But I just loved working GIRTH and looking THICK, and that’s the best thing about PE IMHO since when you work girth you can actually get very sexual, aroused, excited, well that’s all the FUN of SEX right ? Doing Length exercise on the contrary always looked more like "work" to me (you need to be flaccid, not erect, thus not excited/hot..etc..etc..).

This was a huge mistake I guess, since maybe because that was too much on my penis, or because it caused fibrosis to my ligament (no idea), my length gains completely stopped. After this, and until 2015 I did PE (manual stretches) very inconsistently, bought and tried a [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SizeGenetics[/words], did not get much out of it … I thought I was done with PE. Recently I could manage to have more time working from home, then I thought, well why not give it a last shot, then I stumbled upon stillwantmore’s post about his new Hanger : Malehanger. I checked his posts, guides, website and decided to get one (I got the clamp too, but this will wait for AFTER my length goal is reached this time !).

My Goal : Getting to 8.5 inches BPEL at least, or 9 inches if possible (in at least +1 year of hanging max). Then, and only then this time I’ll get nuts on GIRTH again :D (I’m at 6.1 inches MSEG right now, aiming for at least 6.5, maybe 6.7)

Malehanger Review (so far after 4 months using it) :

- Very Nice Service : Ben aka Stillwantmore was from the start very helpful, sends you emails with information, tracking number and status, etc..etc… Replied nicely and fast when I had questions or issues (will develop more on my "screw threads issue" later)

- Very good quality / price ratio according to me. The plastic it’s made of seems much stronger than it may look initially. Takes my weights easily so far (up to 18 pounds), and it can probably handle like 25-30 pounds I guess, so definitely enough (I hope) for a hanging "career" of a few years until reaching the desired length gains.

- It fits nicely without pain or pinching feelings. I haven’t had any issues or real pain once I figured how to properly wrap (and I was also cautious about increasing weights slowly). I’m using [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ACE[/words] type wrap (I use a "3M Coheban" product since that was easy to find for me in Europe) + some cotton wrap as suggested in his guide (I use some bandage like cotton piece of cloth). Of course, hanging feels uncomfortable sometimes (not painful), but that was expected. This is general I mean about hanging, not specific to the product. I started hanging using a homemade hanger (Snake Hanger type), but it was really not convenient, and really not comfortable for me in comparison (maybe because I suck at making homemade hangers too :D)

- In terms of Gains : I could get +0.5 inch so far in about 5 months ! (and based on how difficult it seems for me to get length gains, I’m really glad about it !)

My Progress Log so far :

-> Beginning of August 2015 :

Started Hanging using some homemade Hanger, SnakeHanger like, using a pipe repair thing.
Weight : 2 kgs / 4.4 pounds (I was used to stretching pretty hard manually, so I thought I could start with that weight as long as I could take it).
Duration : 2 sets of 20 mins BTC or Standing up while working on the computer, about 3 to 4 days per week (as time, work, family and privacy allowed).

Warmup / Cooldown : I always warm up using a big plastic cup (like the ones to mix and drink proteins), putting some very hot water in it (just before any burning feeling), and putting my penis in it for 5 min. I do the same when I’m finished with all my sets for "cooldown", and try to do it for less time (2-3 min between each site), also doing some jelqs between each set.

Fortunately I received my MH mid august and kept hanging comfortably with it since then. Gradually increasing the weight, up to 17.6 pounds at the moment.

Frequency : About 4 to 5 days per week (as much as I could), for as many 20 min BTC or SU sets as I could from 1 set per day minimum to sometimes 5-6 sets on some days.
Between sets : I was staying flaccid / penis hanging loose as much as possible (no underwear, using sweat pants often), and sometimes using my [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words] at light weight for 1 or 2 hours (but maybe too rarely to be significant).

Additional info : Trying to get as much sleep as possible. Trying to edge or have sex at night (to get nice erections during the night hence, maybe more gains), trying to drink as less alcohol as possible (since I feared that might kill my gains).

-> Beginning of December 2015 : Measured BPEL Length at 8 inches !! (20.3 cm to be correct = 7.99 inches)

Regarding The Dreaded "Screw Threads Issue" :

Mid-December I had an issue (an expected one, that Ben mentions in his "Watch this first Video"). The screw threads eventually went dead (because of metal friction), and it was then impossible to screw the wingnut anymore to close the MH properly. I tried nevertheless to hang with the 1 cm gap I had, but I eventually hurt myself doing so, so I quit doing it.

When I reported this to Ben, he just asked for my mailto address, then kindly sent me 5 replacement parts sets (including screws, washers, locknuts, etc..), for FREE the next day ! I can’t thank him enough, since I did not manage to find the same exact correct parts in Europe (the sizes wouldn’t match and I couldn’t find the same pinhead / nut parts fitting correctly in the MH hex hole). 10 Days later I received the parts and was back in the game !

I just kindly suggested, that he might think about sending with the MH, some replacement parts sets (1 or 2) right away, since, when it occurs to you, and your MH can’t get closed anymore, bottomline you can’t HANG anymore you feel kind of desperate (I know I was ! :D), you feel like you’re going to lose your gains, etc..etc..

Here it is, and my BIG Thanks again to Ben for having the Malehanger Hanger available to men like me, and for his help and support so far !

Will post more progress once I get more gains (I certainly hope so !)

Finally started Hanging again on the 8th of January 2015 ! Back in the game ! :)

I was concerned that after so long (a +20 days break), I had to start all over back to to a lighter weight that the 8 kgs (17.6 pounds) I was using before the screw issue, but not really :

Did 1 set of 20 min Standing up (SD ? SU ? not sure the right acronym is) with 6 Kgs (13.2 pounds) -> It was really really OK; very comfortable and easy. Which led me to two thoughts :

a) On the positive side : It's really incredible how the penis and body adapts and gets used to the weights ! I can clearly remember that in the beginning 6 kgs / 13 lbs were way too much. Now I can hardly feel the same 13 pounds.... Like if I was hanging like 5 pounds.

b) On the negative side, I thought that maybe, that's also a [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]sign[/words] my ligaments became too hard (Because of girth work ? [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Bathmate[/words] ?), so that means maybe I'll have to use much more weight to get any more length gain at all...

2nd set the same day : 20 min SD (straight down, standing up) with 7 kgs (15.4 lbs). This time it felt MUCH more like the real thing, like some real stretch.
My thought : Funny how only +1 kgs (+2.2 lbs) make such difference, but it's a positive thing then.

Then, the next day : 9th of January
1 set of 20 min SD (standing up, but in some "squatting" position, hands on the knees, legs flexed), since I think I feel more stretch in that angle. Back to my former higher weight : 8 Kgs (17.6 lbs)

-> This time, the nice burning feeling of a real stretch was back ! And I could hold it correcly while standing up. However at one point, I tried to switch to a BTC position, and it was just too much on the grip location (pinching, stretching pain on the skin), so I just finished in the same angle position (Standing up, little bit flexed, Straight down) for the full 20 min.

I already noticed that when you stretch one angle for like 10 min, and then you try to stretch to another angle right away, it feels harder on the second angle, but maybe it's easier for me to make : BTC first, then SD last. The other way around seems too hard on my penis/skin.

10th of January : Tried 15 min BTC with 8 kgs again. It was harder to handle than Standing Up. This clearly confirmed to me something I was noticing in the past. It seems that I can take more weights in some angles than others.

- Standing up / Straight down angle is how I can handle the most Weight it seems (probably I could try to increase to almost 20 pounds : 9 kgs = 19.8 lbs in that angle)
- Between the Cheeks (BTC) is really harder and the stretch is more intense (on the ligs and at the grip location on the skin), so I think, for the moment my max weight BTC is 8 kgs.
- I'll have maybe to try Straight up one day, putting on a long nylon rope over my shoulder or something. Or even Straight out, with a cord falling with very heavy weight from my bed for example, just to see if I get any burn feeling, or good stretch out of it.

For the moment, I'll try to stay focused on those primary angle : SD, and secondary angle BTC I think, with increased weight (+1 kg every 2 weeks or so)

Also, I'll try to add as oftent as possible, something I was doing in the very beginning as a "warm up" (to try to target the tunica at the same time) : 1 or 2 sets of 30 sec Bundled DLD Blasters (manual ones), just twisting my penis 1 time and a half, then, doing a normal Blaster for 30 sec, each side. I hope that somehow will affect the tunica, and make the hanging afterwards more efficient.

I quit doing it to focus on just hanging, but I think it was mistake, I'll do that again, just maybe some 2 min bundled hanging before I hang normally (I'm scared that it'd suffocate the penis too much regarding blood flow, if I leave the bundle for longer than 2 min each side).

Next Target : I hope I'll get to 9 Kgs (19.8 pounds) SD Next Week !
 
Sorry Golferjohn, it seems I kept you waiting ;-). Not on purpose, I just don’t have much time and privacy to post a lot of updates so I think I’ll stick to weekly updates, or only post when something significant occurs (gains, new ideas, etc..). So here’s my weekly update from 11/01 to 18/01 :

11/01/2016 :
12h00 : 1 set of 8 kgs (17.6 lbs) for 20 min, SD (while standing up or in «MOSflexed/squatMOS» position)
20h00 : 1 set of 8 kgs (17.6 lbs) for 20 min, BTC (was too painful at first, had to rewrap then it was ok)

12/01/2016 :
14h00 : 1 set of 9 kgs for 16 min, SD (Had to rewrap due to pain, too much skin pinching first. Then OK, but it was too hardcore after 16 min)
17h00 : 1 set of 9 kgs for 20 min, SD (the skin pinching pain became hard to take after about 10 min, but managed to take it since it became "dumb" after some additional minutes, burn felt in ligaments & shaft)

13/01/2016 :
10h00 : 1 set of 9 kgs for 5 min, then 8 kgs for 15 min (Was too uncomfortable / painful on grip after 5 min, so I removed the MH, kept my wrap and decided to finish my set with 8 kgs, it was then OK. I Need to try dave's technique as suggested by SWM in the MH guide).

14/01/2016 :
10h00 : 2 min of manual DLD Bundled Blasters (1 min each side/hand pulling as strong as I can), then 8 kgs for 10 min & 9 kgs for 10 min (Really OK, comfortable at 8 kgs during 10 min. Then, stopped, changed weight. I lost 1min30 doing so, I need to improve that. Then reattached with 9 kgs for more 10 min). Hard and intense stretch/burn at 9 kgs, really feeling more grip/uncomfortable feeling close to pinching at grip location, but I could spend the +10 min at 9 kgs ok. After the 10 min at 9 kgs, my penis really wanted to take a break, which I assume is a positive thing.

12h00 : 1 set 8 kgs [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]x 20[/words] min/SD (sitting). It was very uncomfortable at grip location this time. Tried to rewrap 4 times until I decided I would go for it without trying 9 kgs this time. Was really really uncomfortable at grip location the last 2 min

15h00 : 8 kgs for 10 min, then 9 kgs for 10 min / SD (standing up). Nice wrap straight away this time ! Just wrapped over my foreskin without pulling my balls; and pulling my penis by the glans. Looks like when it comes to wrapping simple is better. It was very comfortable at 8 kgs, so tried to add 1 kgs after 10 min to take advantage of this.

17h00 : 8 kgs for 10 min, then 9 kgs for 10 min / SD (standing up). last 5 min this time were intense (on glans, grip) but manageable. Will keep on doing it, possibly more progressively.

17/01/2016 : rest day (tired, had too much work too).

18/01/2016 :
15h00 : 8 kgs for 10 min, then 9 kgs for 10 min / SD (standing up). Last 10 min were intense, last 5 min, very intense (burn, stretch, grip) but manageable
21h00 : 8 kgs for 10 min, then 9 kgs for 10 min / SD (standing up). Same thing.
 
Additional info & Thoughts after some new tests today :

- Dave’s Technique / Progressive Hanging :

After doing several tests, I could see that for now my penis could not manage 9 kgs for 20 min yet (too much on the glans/grip location for now). Therefore, I tried the Dave’s Technique SWM explains in his Malehanger’s guide. The goal being to be able to hang more weight my penis is normally able to handle during a set.

I also like the progressive hanging aspect of that, and the idea of getting the penis out of the "comfort zone" (but nothing unbearable or too painful).

Here’s how I do it : I hang 8 kgs for 5 min, then after 5 min (and with my 8 kgs still hung), I would attach in less than 5 sec, another extra gym sandbag of +0.5 kgs (+1.1 lbs) with its velcro strap to my 8 kgs package, making it 8.5 kgs (18.7 lbs). Then after some more 5 min, I’d replace that 0.5 kgs sandbag (same technique) by one of 1 kg (+2.2 lbs), making it in the end a total of 9 kgs (very close to 20 lbs, 19.8 precisely).

That way, I hang a total of 20 min with no interruption at all, at minimum, my penis is still hanging 8 kgs during 20 min, but then, it takes a little bit more (while still hanging) after 5 min, then 20 lbs for the last 10 min of the set. When it’ll start to feel too comfortable at 8.5 or 9 kgs, I’ll increase my basic initial weight to 8.5 kgs (18.7 lbs), etc…

When I was stretching manually in the past, I used to try to increase the pulling force as I was pulling, so it works exactly in the same way, hanging style.

- Wrapping with Foreskin (uncut) :

I noticed when I started hanging again, that I did not know how to wrap properly anymore. Sometimes I felt a lot of pain at first. I then rewrapped, and rewrapped, until it felt OK. After trying to troubleshoot the issue, I noticed that when I used to wrap in the past, I was pulling/retracting my foreskin back. I did that because I was trying to prevent some more foreskin generation, and eventually turkey neck. So I was basically taking my balls between my legs (which pulled my foreskin completely back), then pulling my penis forward from the glans, and putting my wrap on, making sure, my foreskin was not in it. I think this wrap type made it painful when I started hanging heavier weights.

Eventually, I decided to just keep on pulling my glans forward, but I do not retract the foreskin anymore. I just put my wrap over it, and then it feels good. Even better, after I hang hard (at 9 kgs), I can see that my foreskin makes some kind of protecting lip, when it’s being pulled by the weight, and covers about half of my glans, where the hanger kinds of sits during the set. At the end of the set, it makes some kind of skin donut around the back half of my glans, but that eventually goes back to normal after some minutes.

- Attaching the MH : I now try to attach my Malehanger closer to the middle of my shaft (or further from the glans). I feel a stronger pull this way.

- The Bundled DLD Blasters I do for Warmup :

Using a latex glove (I cut the fingers ends) as grip aid, gripping with two fingers (index finger, middle finger) (thumb / ok grip towards my penis). The actual grip location being at about 1.5 inches behind my glans. I twist my penis, clockwise first, towards the right, 1 twist and a half and use my right hand. Once bundled, I take a standard DLD Blaster position, and pull as strong as possible forward, and also raising my legs, to create a pull upwards too (I feel an intense burn on the bottom of my penis ligaments when I do so). I try to keep this position for 60 sec. Then do the other side, left hand.

Then I do a few jelqs, to restore blood circulation, a little massaging of the glans and penis before I perform my hanging sets right after it.

This serves two purposes : 1) to kill my EQ and be very flaccid (sometimes, wrapping or just touching my penis, makes me semi-erect, which is very annoying for hanging...). 2) to try and stress the tunica right before I do my hanging (just in case I can reap more gains doing so).

- Angles :

Decided that my first angle of attack would be straight down (while I'm standing up or sitting on a chair). Kind of prefer standing up, since when I sit my penis goes one side or the other (left or right), which forces me to go like 10 min left then 10 min right, whereas it stays straight down when I'm standing up. Not sure if it’s as efficient this way (rather than stretching the penis for 20 min in the same exact angle). Second angle of attack will be BTC (more complicated, I can generally put on more weight standing up or SD than BTC).

- Weapons :

Hanger : Malehanger
Passive Stretching : [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SizeGenetics[/words] (old one from 2010/2011).
Weights : I use PVC dumbbells (1 kgs, 3 kgs, 5 kgs, and 0.5 & 1 kg sandbags). I attach all of them as if it was some kind of homemade kettlebell, with 2 leg straps (attached together so I use them as a big velcro strap). The straps have velcro and a ring of metal (used normally for fitness machines to work the legs, butt). The gym sandbags also has velcro, so it can be attached easily to the Weight package (without stopping or removing the weights).

- Nutrition :

I completely quit drinking alcohol (except for exceptional occasions, like a family or friend wedding, birthday, etc..)
I try to keep a healthy diet : Minimal junk food, lots of vegetables and proteins (mostly organic chicken, fish, a little read meat, eggs) to get nutriments for my gains and keep a nice testosterone level too.
Drinking a lot of of water/tea (maybe 5 to 6 teas per day), about 2 L total per day.
I also take some additional vitamins and supplements : Arginine, tribulis, zinc, magnesium, maca, ginseng (the usual PE stuff :)) and spirulina for overall health.

- Passive hanging : When privacy allows it I put on my [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words] after a hanging set for 30 min to 1h (low weight, first mark, so at 900g I think). Then, I try to do another hanging set (warming up in hot water first), until my penis really needs a break :)

- Reward : Since length work is really work for me (not as fun as girth work), I try to edge after my sets or at night (or have sex) so it’s my reward for my hard day’s work :).
It’ll also train me to last longer, and I’m sure it’s also important to fill your penis with a good nice erection after some length work.

- Healing : As BigBeardBig suggested in his amazing thread, I’m now using Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, that I apply generously at night before sleeping. Very pleasurable (can also be used for jelqs, masturbating), and also very nice for the ladies (nice coconut taste when performing a blow job !).

Additional info / Thoughts : Put some extra wrapping to try to make it easier on the grip. New cloth wrap is twice the size in length of my former "cloth" wrap to try to put more cushion on grip.
I've noticed that since I reached 8 kgs, I was feeling a burn feeling/stretch mainly on the "left" side of my ligaments/penis when stretching (not sure if that makes any sense atonomically wise).
Today, I started to notice the same burn, but on the right side ! Maybe one of my ligaments was more stretched than the other and now it's starting to get stretched too ? no idea, interesting though.

Very nice working day today ! (I could take advantage of a lot of privacy), great feelings, post PE ! (burns, soreness, only good signs).

Additional info / Thoughts :

DLD Blaster for warm up : What I do now, is that I stretch and get into the DLD Blaster position, until I feel a real nice burn (bottom base of my penis). Then, at that moment only I start making deep breaths (to relax my pc muscle, do reverse kegels), and count 60 deep breaths (in and out) each side.

Wrapping : The Double length cloth wrap still seems to do the job. I also take more time to attach the MH : I attach it to the max, then, after 1 min, I try to tigthen it more, usually I can do 1 or 2 extra turns.
I do this for about 2 min, until the MH screw really can't go further (SWM was also explaining this in his video, but I think I was just attaching the MH too fast before probably). This seems to help with the grip feeling too.

Standing up : Also bought an adjustable laptop stand, that I put on my desk. I adjust it, so I can work and hang at the same time while standing up (very good for health overall also)

This [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]BM[/words] mod is definitely famous for a reason : The vacuum pressure you can get with it is really insane ! I pulled a few times like every 3 min, and I was seeing my penis inflating like a ballon up to 21.5 mm of length (8.5") ! It was the first time I think, I felt my penis so tight/inflated (almost painful). I could have maybe been able to inflate it even more, but I wanted to be cautious. Crazy, and harcore !

This morning, I was still really expanded (also had many nocturnal erections), so I waited until noon before trying a hanging session. I didn't measure but I was at least 6.5" MSEG (temporarily), much bigger than I already am (6" MSEG). In the end it was ok, but it just took me much longer to place the MH tight enough to the max (to squeeze all that girth). This comforted me with the fact that, for me at least, it's much easier and better to focus on length first.

Having too much girth would definitely get in the way of my length work (hanging, stretching, [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words], etc...). I also think that, this would probably be too much to handle for my penis right now.

Today's work (had some privacy, so I really went at it) :

I really think I need to check and buy this [words=http://TLCTugger.com/MOS]VLC[/words] attachment for the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words], or go back to the velcro attachment. The standard noose attachment really becomes uncomfortable after a while (too tight on the glans I think, my glans becomes numb and cold too fast with it).

17h00 :

Hanging 8 kgs for 5 min, then 8.5 kgs for 15 (was already intense at 8.5 kgs, did not want to push it)

I was thinking about pulling another one in the evening, but my penis and my skin were really beaten up for the day, so I thought...hmm maybe too much.

I prefer to listen to my penis and body and let it rest when it needs to.

Indeed! It is always a great thing to spread the awareness and motivate those who may need the extra boost. Many Brothers do not realize, even a small increase gives so many hope they can do the same. I know as I was coming up I tried to inspire as many as I could and it really worked, I saw men making gains so much faster and I loved being their to support. Eventually opening [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] allowed me to do this as a full time job, I am so blessed to do what I love to do.

Thanks SWM, I now make sure to generously apply a lot of moisturizer cream on my little guy after every set of hanging (and some organic coconut oil at night before sleeping), so it can be come back quickly for more :)

Pampering our little guy is important indeed !

Pampering our little guy is important indeed !

Hydrocortisone is the way to go as far as moisturizer. It not only keeps things moisturized but it eliminates redness and helps reduce stretch marks.
