The main reason for discoloration is because of being under too much pressure for too long. What happens whether it is clamping, pumping or any other suppressive exercise that is over done will cause bleeding from within the penis, arising to the surface as coagulated blood. Since these are deep dermal discoloration in some cases in can take much time for that discoloration to surface and be lightened. To avoid this never go longer than 5 minutes under intense pressure or vacuum. After every 5 minute set work in a set of SSJ, Jelqs or even massage, you will want to redistribute that blood evenly through the entire penis before doing another 5 minute set.
