I started with a basic routine. Very much like what's listed in this forum. I took it slow and easy for the first two months. I would slowly add more time and pressure to my stretches week by week. Also I increased the length of time and pressure to my jelq sessions. Adding 5 minutes ( 150 strokes ) to a session ( five on and two off ) every week starting with 10 min. and moving up from their. Making sure not to go over 30 min. for the first two months. After the two month mark I slowly added mild advanced exercises and squeezes. I think that learning my PI's was the most beneficial factor in growth, and to not over train. After that things just seamed to take off. I had a steady gain in EL & EG of about 1/8",give or take, every two to three weeks. I also took a two week break at the two month point where I lost 1/4" in EL but soon gained back.
As for my health I would say average, 15% body fat, take vitamins, not currently doing cardio or weights. Lots of water, fruit, and a high protein diet. Mild smoking and drinking socially. I would have to say though that a positive attitude and approach is a healthy mind I guess.
