Ok, I know this has happened before because I remember reading it on here. I did do a 'search' for it but could not find it.

Here is what happened: this morning I was doing jelqing in the shower when a drop of blood hit the shower floor. I thought maybe I had cut my finger or something. In reality the blood come out of my 'pee' hole because I inspected and there was still a little blood by the opening.

My penis felt pretty much fine throughout the day---a little sore but there was no pain when I took a pee.

Ok, what exactly did I do? I have been jelqing for almost 7 months now and nothing other then the red spots thing had happened before.

Next question: did I do anything permanent?

Last question: what should I do now? stop jelqing forever or just take a few days off?

Any suggestions/answers will be much appreciated

I´ve read about this many times.

Just take some days off and then return gradually.

Ok, so I have not done 'permanent damage' I have just been a little over zealous with my jelqing is that it?

So a few days off and I should be back to normal?

it does not even hurt?

It is slightly sore on the underside of the shaft---kind of like the soreness you get after a workout---so not a 'painfull' soreness.

Don't worry, is nothing. Happend also to me but from the right side of the gland just a bit of blood a little spot. 2 days and you will be fine. Of course after pee wash well your penis.

No this wasen't a 'red-spot' I have had them before and know what they are. This was actual blood that came out of my 'pee' hole---like a bloody nose except I had a bloody penis.....

:hammer: :biggun: Why did I have the idea of reading those posts :s

woah blood? I don't care what anyone says...that cannot be good. See a doctor or something....

And I'd like to second the notion of why I read this post... Sends a shiver down my spine to think of a bloody pee-hole.

Oh yeh, and go to the doctor.

Well to give you guys an update on what happened to me: I took 4 days off from jelqing and stretching. The only thing I did during that time was about 300 kegels a day.

I resumed jelqing and 'lowered' the intensity that I was doing it at and so far I have not had any problems. I think that the 4 days off really helped because I have been pretty much at it for about 6 months straight now.

My first day back was the 18th and I did 300 jelqs. I then added 100 per day to get to my usual 1000 per day.

Glad to see you are ok now.

It can be very scary to see blood coming out of your pee-hole, but it has happened to many guys and will happen to others in the future. When you see that, share your experience so they don´t freak out.

Yes it did freak me out when it actually happened! I kept a level head about it---since I am an EMT and have seen alot of blood in my day--and just relaxed myself. I started drinking alot of water so that I could pee to see if there was any residual left in my shaft---there wasen't.

There was a 'tingling' sensation in my shaft for 2 days which went away--I am assuming that I bruised some tissue and it needed to heal. Four days is usually the time for a soft tissue injury to heal about 80%+

Overall I think that I learned from the experience and now I monitor the amount of pressure that I use when jelqing.

Thanks for all the support and replies, fellas! If this should happen to you---don't freak out! Just take a few days off to recover and you will be 100% again!

Thanks, that's reassuring. I didn't freak out when it happened, I've seen worse things! All the same, while it's not panic-inducing it is slightly concerning. Short break for me coming up then.

Well, the other day this shit happened to me and it scared the shit outta me... I had heard of it happening to other guys before, but I never really thought that I would see blood coming out my dick hole.

I was doing my uli/ dry jelq routine- very high intensity routine utilizing a lot of pressure for maximum expansion. During the routine I can often notice some blood coming out of little red spots (like one or two) on the surface of my dick that are like scabs that crack and bleed a bit- nothing that really ever bothered me. But when I go to check where the blood is coming from this time and look to the bottom of my dick- its coming out from my pee hole. So I freaked and stopped doing the routine- didnt do anything the next day and have done some less intense workouts since- everthing was fine- until today...

I wake up, go to the comp to get some naked people movies and i figured I could go all out in intensity again- 15 minutes in... blood coming out the pee hole. There is minimal pain when it happens, its just that it freaks me out to see it. Im going to do what this thread says and stop for four days, then come back slowly.

I HATE FUCKING INJURIES!!!

I have been having the same problem. And I panicked at first, but there was just a small drop and no free bleeding and no apparent pain, just soreness from the work-out.

I stopped for about 4 days and it was gone. Now it has returned and I've been paying more attention to what is going on. It seems that both when jelging or stretching there is a lot of pressure on the glans. And it apparently produces some micro tears along the urethra (pee hole) in the glans. So when you apply pressure you get blood, not as much as a finger stick for a blood sample, but the same principle.

I'm just gonna roll with it and keep going. If it gets worse I might take the intensity down a notch or two, but I really don't want too.

Massaging seems to help, but I am gripping really hard. Got the occasional blister to prove it. Add to that the warm-up/warm-down that increases blood flow (and speeds healing), things are going to happen.

I am not going to ignore this, but I won't panic either. I was hoping someone else had a better idea, but this thread hasn't shed much light on it other than there are others out there with the same thing.

Ya it happened to me before ..I just layed off for a week and all was fine....
