I experience discomfort when sleeping but I can mitigate that a few ways. I also wear many layers, 8, and I will often put a slight restriction at the base with a rubber band. Not too much, just very light tension.
Sometimes after a few hours of wear, the base area will get uncomfortable. At that point, I will grab the innermost layer at the base and fold it over itself about 1" worth. So then the whole shaft is covered but 1" at the shaft. Surprisingly the overall length remains about the same so it is still effective.
I have some insane girth blaster type exercises you can do also. I don't think I have ever seen this described but here I will explain. I involves coiling theraband tubing along the divosuit covered shaft.
Needs: 6 to 8 layers of divosuit material, at least 4' length of 3/8" to 5/16" theraband tubing.
Divosuit (6 to 8 layers) and bring to erection. Then wind about 3 coils of theraband at the base. Be careful as the pressures involved are high and so I recommend you proceed very conservatively. Even with the coils at barely any strain you will recognize the progressive effect due to the combination of clamping and the compression of the divosuit.
This will provide an indefinite blaster, literally. You will have to remove the coils to subside your erection. Make sure you unwrap if you go numb or circulation is needed. DO NOT SLEEP with the coils in place. You can wrap more coils to get more effect, though again I caution that the pressures are high so proceed with caution until you know your limits.
Typically I will wrap 3 coils and then tie in a knot. Then later I will wrap the ends in another coil loop and tie another knot. And maybe once more. Then after 30 minutes or so I will remove the theraband and let it get back into normal erect shape (the coils tend to make it temporarily baseball bat shaped), and repeat the exercise.
It's a bit subtle at this time for me to say conclusively, but I think this is a good exercise to increase girth and shape towards the head. A good compliment to normal pumping which tends to favor expansion at the base.
This all brings up the innovation in the suit material, and also an effect which has not previously been applied. The beauty of the material is that it allows the wider distribution of a clamping force. The close-knitting provides
traction and yet remains comfortable. Using coiled material such as theraband tubing, the layers of divosuit act as a sausage casing to stretch the penis lengthwise. After an
SG extender session I can apply the divosuit layers and a few coils of theraband and actually maintain the equivalent
SG stretch length.
