There can be a few adverse longterm complications when too much skin is removed by circumcision. You must examine yourself closely and use common sense to ascertain whether foreskin restoration can help you. I am no expert on this, but I have done some extensive reading and research into the matter. Circumcision is not an exact science for an MD. After all, how can he know which infant is going to be extra big when grownup and need a little extra? This is why I think it should only be done to adults, who can make an informed decision and who have finished developing.
Have a look at your penis, both flaccid and erect, and see if you have any of the following problems. When you pull your flaccid penis straight out, does your scotum seem to hang from too far up the shaft? This can be caused by too much skin being removed from the bottom side of the penis, causing the scrotum to be pulled forward to accomodate erections. How far up the shaft of your penis do you grow pubic hair? A uncircumcised cock has no hair on the shaft. If you have more than an inch of hair growing up your root, you are probably shy some coverage. Some other signs that you were too tightly cut are the following: curved erections, stretch marks on shaft, excessive scarring at the circ line, stunted development of penis or glans.
Like I said, just have a look at yourself and use your common sense. Get an erection and then check your penis for skin mobility. Are you able to pull your c-scar past the ridge of your glans? Most men who are loosely circumcised can pull the skin over the head. After six months of restoring, I can easily pull my shaft skin about 1/2 of the way over the head when erect. Men who are too tightly cut are not able to do this at all, or without tugging the skin of the lower abdomen and scrotum up the shaft.
Skin expansion has many of the same benefits as foreskin restoration. Actually, it is pretty much the same thing, but the goal is only to grow more shaft skin, not completely restore to the natural uncut look. You can do skin expansion just until you feel you have enough skin to accomodate your erections comfortably without worrying about changing your cut/uncut status. Please do not think that FR is irreversible...it takes up to 3 years to finish restoring! You're not going to accidentally pull too hard one night and wake the next day with a foreskin!
It is a long, frustrating process that you have to commit to.
If you are indeed too tightly cut, skin expansion/foreskin restoration may have the following benefits for you:
1- Increased flaccid and erect size (both length and girth) as your skin is lengthened to accomodate more of the penile shaft trapped inside your abdomenal cavity.
2- Increased pleasure (as more nerve endings are created and constant coverage causes your glans to dekeratinize)
3- Increased fertility/horniness (longterm effect) as your scrotum begins to hang lower, your testicles are kept at a lower temp, increasing sperm production, higher test levels, etc.
4- Improved circulation. That new skin you're making is highly vascular! This leads to better flaccid hang. You will get erections more often, too, and they will be HARD!
I have personally experienced all four of those, as well as straightened the curve of my cock to a good degree. I welcome any other contributions to this subject, but if you dispute it, you better have some proof, buddy!
Obviously, if you received a loose circ or are uncircumcised, skin expansion is not going to give you such dramatic results. If you are loosely circed, about the most you can expect doing this is increased sensitivity and circulation. If you are like me, and had your penis pretty much skinned completely...FR is going to change your world!!!!
