100% agreed. On another message board I was on, people were always trying to blow up my spot (and really, really did about as much as they could to get rid of my anonymity) because I told the truth about myself and they thought I was full of shit. It was full of mostly average people from comfortable backgrounds, so what I saw as normal they saw as impressive and thus as me bragging and as me making up shit. So in order to protect my identity I gave them what they wanted and made a thread saying I lied about everything and basically was inferior to them. This was when I was trying to be a pro athlete, so my shit would have been out there easily and it would have ruined my life.JakeM82;637672 said:Sometimes anonymity is the key to true vulnerability. In this case I think that's true when men are talking about improvements they want to make, or weaknesses they feel they have. Protecting our anonymity is a key to part of the community itself. So even if you figure out someones true ID, don't blast them, be a good brother.

The only thing I couldn't say I lied about was the size of my cock, since there were pictures of it on there at one point that apparently are still floating around. I was even tipped off in PM that somebody was shown a pic of me that was unflattering from when I was younger and didn't take taking care of myself seriously. A female member who was flirting with me and wanted me was told in PM that I was underage (which was a ridiculous lie seeing as I was 23 at the time). To this day I wonder how many people who actually know me know I posted there and that it was me. I worry about it to be honest.
Remember, once you put something online it is there forever, and anybody can have access to it even after you've erased it because you don't know who saved it.

100%. That's where most of it comes from I've found, is not being able to accept that because they're sheltered and come from comfort that they aren't as tough as somebody who grew up having to be tough, or that they don't have as good of a body as this guy or that guy, can't do something as well as somebody else, aren't as intelligent as somebody else, etc. Rather than putting in the effort to improve themselves if they can or accept what they are if they can't, they just lash out at anybody who threatens their delusion of being alpha males who are perfect in every way. I've been a target of those types ever since I was a kid since I'm taller than average, yet the funny thing is some of the most alpha male dudes I've ever known were average height to short guys who didn't have Napoleon complexes and became the best they could be thanks to having to work at it. Be what you are, ya know?doublelongdaddy;637826 said:But on real life are pussy's!
