I got a membership here a while back, but today is the day that I'm serious about starting. My problem is not "size" (although I wouldn't mind it being bigger) but rather function. Here's my story.

I'm 20 years old, soon to be 21, and I am a virgin. When I was in about 8th grade, I first attempted masturbation. When I initially did it, it took me about an hour to reach ejaculation. I did it under my bed sheets, and I honestly woke up the next morning thinking that I had imagined it. But I tried it again later, and knew it was real. Then I tried it, and watched myself ejaculate. Shortly thereafter, I became addicted.

Since 8th grade, I've masturbated almost every day. The exceptions to the rule, were ironically, when I had something to do all day, and didn't even think about it. Also, if I ever went on a trip or a vacation where I never got a chance for privacy (although even then I would sometimes find a way to do it). In (very) rare instances, where I would be home alone all day with nothing to do, I would masturbate up to 12 times. This was uncommon, but for me to masturbate twice or 3 times is not. I'd say that since 8th grade, I've masturbated 1.5 times a day on average.

About a year ago, something happened that lead me to believe that I would finally be having sex. When I started thinking about it, I realized how much trouble I had getting it up without contact, and that when I started to masturbate, I was able to ejaculate about 70% hard and that it took much less than a minute.

Yikes. I tried on a trojan condom, and it squeezed my penis so tight that veins bulged out of it. It's hard to describe, but it sort of stayed hard but went limp. Then it became mishapen and started to deflate.

A magnum condom worked much better, I was able to stay semi-hard, and I attempted to practice sex by masturbating with the condom on. The condom ended up bunched up at the head of my penis by the time I ejaculated. That didn't work out well.

When the time came, sure enough, the girl was interested in me, and I was actually happy to know that she wasn't interested in sex at first. It gave me a sigh of relief. However, she masturbated me, and I wasn't able to get hard. I asked her to grip my penis at the head, which is where I ussually do it, and I still couldn't get hard. She gave me oral sex, and I went flaccid. Then I gripped it and finished it myself.

This didn't seem to bother her, and by the end of the weekend, she ended up liking me so much that she wanted to have sex. I flat out told her that I had trouble getting it up with a condom on. She didn't seem to mind, and was willing to work with me. While we were doing foreplay, someone actually tried to break in to our room (loooooooong story, not as bad as you think) so I (thankfully) had a legitimate excuse not to be able to get it up.

I honestly feel that if I had more time with her, I would be rid of my problem by now. Unfortunately, there's a great distance between the two of us, so that's impossible. Since then, I've attempted to stop masturbating, but it's always been "this is the last day!" "I'll start Sunday!" or "I'll start the 1st of next month!" etc...

For the first time in my life, I'm away at college, and I share an apartment with 3 people who are trustworthy, but I really don't know. One of them is my room mate, so he has a right to open my door at any time without knocking, and a right to get suspicious if my door is locked for an extended period of time. That helps.

Over the past 6 weeks, I've stopped masturbating for 2 or 3 days at a time, only to fall back in to it. I once did it for 4 days at a time, only to fall back in to it. Finally, for 5 days I avoided it, only to masturbate yesterday, on the 6th day. Here's where it gets tricky.

When I say that I avoided masturbation I mean that I avoided ejaculation. Almost every day off I've started to masturbate, only to stop myself before ejaculation. Also, yesterday, I was getting massive anxiety. Something that happened to me a while back was starting to bother me immensely. When I masturbated (and ejaculated) I realized I was over reacting and blowing the whole thing out of proportion. Could it be that I'm suffering from withdrawal?

In any sense, I need to learn to stop masturbating, and how to "get it up."

Today I took a long shower, did basic stretching, and then later did jelquing. I would get semi hard at times doing stretching, and found that my penis varied from 60% to 80% hard during jelquing. When I was done jelquing, my left testicle started to ache for about 30 seconds and then stopped. I'm gonna try kegels in a little bit.

Can anyone help me? I really want to be able to maintain an erection.

Flaccid- 5 inches
Hard- 7 and 1/3.
 
i think kegels would be a good place to start, as they can help you form and maintain an erection without contact. strong pc muscles basically make it able to harden instantly, as if on command.

as for stopping masturbating, maybe try cutting back as opposed to cold turkey. maybe shoot for once every two days, and work up to once or twice a week only.

jelqing is also magical as far as [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]penis health[/words] and erection quality (eq) is concerned.

when you masturbate without ejaculation, if you stop just before the point of no return, it is called edging, and this is great for stopping premature ejaculation, which is a huge sexual anxiety for some people. so this might not be all bad, but only once you kick the addictive masturbating.

So you would recommend that in addition to my routine, I masturbate every day, and then stop when I feel like I'm about to cum? Should I just stop and do something else, or should I stop and do it again in a few minutes? This will allow me to last longer during sex? Will it have any affect on my ability to "get it up?"

whoa, slow down. only once you have completely kicked the habit of masturbating can you edge.

first, i would work on reducing your amount of masturbation. this is important, becuase if you still have a strong addiction, an edging session will just turn into a jerking session.

but i would personally focus on

a. kegels for strong erection quality
b. kicking the masturbation habit
c. relax, calm down, and get over the mental factors and hang ups you have about sex

this last one may take the longest, but is the most important.
 
You've also cut way back on your daily masturbation, which is a great start. I agree with Ty. Work on developing the kegels and keep cutting back on the masturbation, which you are doing

And relax!!! You're much too hard on yourself. :P
 
i think most guys if not in a relationship masturbate on a pretty regular basis...hell sometimes it's just something to do...but one way i stop masturbating was to train myself that it doesn't really serve a good purpose...sure it helps me fall asleep faster rofl...but other than that it really doesn't benefit me...when i'm doing my pe routine i always take the mindset is that i don't want to mess with my gains or i don't want to screw around and miss a routine...and i just trained my mind to thinking that if i masturbated for that day it would make me a lot less likely to do my routine and that is messing with my gains!!! i've done came to the conclusion in my mind that my progress is a lot more important to me than a quick release...your wasting a lot of testosterone by beating off a lot...and that can hinder your gains...just try to think of it like that...hope that helps and good luck...it's hard to untrain yourself from doing something that you are so use to doing...but your mental is a lot stronger than you realize

Completely agree.

I'd personally recommend you only blow once every month because believe me I had a very addicting problem myself. Be it a hot chick on t.v for example I just had to unload on that chick or something, but now I look at it like ''meh...theres just gonna be some more later and the next day'' and so on. I really find the strength in that.....kinda makes me proud of myself.:s
 
You guys are right. If I'm not getting laid, I need to treat masturbation as a reward, and do it less often. I'll appreciate it more that way.

Quite well, had a bit of trouble on jelquing though. Today I tried gripping a bit harder, and I also tried stopping at the head (as apparently I should have done the past two times). I noticed my dick was a bit thicker round the middle when I was done, and then it went away. Is this normal?
 
yeah after a good girth routine...it is normal for your penis to stay in a sort of pumped state for a while...mines does this until i get in the shower..but yeah a lot of guys look more plump rofl after a girth routine...i wouldn't worry about it.

This is true. Also keep in mind that this constant expansion will eventually become real girth gains. It just needs to be done consistently. I remember girth was almost impossible for me, it took a few months to really see a change. Today I have permanent gains and I have not done Penis Enlargement actively in a minute.
