I've come upon my first year of bodybuilding. I think it's harder for taller guys than shorter guys. I've seen this guy on youtube who is about 5'4'', mexican have you ( not racist ) a natural, and thick, shredded with a small waist. I know for a fact this kid has to be taking roids. Same for one other guy who is asian on youtube. Think his name is hahnchampion. i've seen his status pictures and his 3rd year he was still a bit skinny, but muscle. Guessing he started tes around that time, because when I look at his further pictures, the guy is thick, muscular with low body fat. Alot of people I know who call themselves natties aren't really natties per say.

I don't want a physique like arnie by the way. It's best to find my own way in bbing, but why not take his same logic and apply it to life? Vince Gironda is one of my favorites actually. He actually thought of keto before it went mainstream and by his diet information, I've gotten a bit more leaner and stronger too. Guy knows his shit.

The simple fact is that guys like myself have to lift harder in order to get any growth in. It's funny, because some guy called me small, yet I can deadlift 425 with belts or straps. Just takes longer to fill out. But man, when it does, It's godly as fuck.

Most probably not.

There is a limit to the amount of muscle one can put on naturally depending on height/joint-measure and maybe some other genetic factors.
Here's a link to a great article by one of the few most knowledgable guys in the field of nutrition, diet and exercise.
Lyle McDonald Genetic Muscular Potential
I highly recommend reading his articles.

Here he gives 4 models for expected muscle potential for natural athletes, by himself, Alan Aragon, Casey Butt and Martin Berkham (leangains.com)

Arnold at contest shape weighed in at about 230 pounds 5% bf, 6' tall
This is already way over the estimated max as calculated by Casey and Martin, though one could argue there are genetic freaks and one can might make some small gains above ones natural limit though these will come very very slowly. Still, this is a pretty massive deviation from their calculations.

One only has to look at natural bodybuilding competitions to see people rarely come in at much over 200 lbs contest shape. Really no one compares to Arnold or the likes.

There is a very big difference between contest shape and a more regular 10-15% bodyfat. One may be able to hold onto a lot more muscle mass when one maintains at a higher bf level. So there might be natural guys who might look bigger and be heavier than Arnold, but they will look a lot different when they cut all the way down to 4-5% bf

As I have said before read up on Arthur Jones, Mike Mentzer, Pete Sisco, John Little, Vince Gironda and Charles Polquein. Dont take the word of these bloated fuck-tards who abuse the juice, they are not role models but I make exceptions for the older generation like Arnie who actually looked good. Are you working out for hobby/health or do you desire to compete? I think you need to really invest more time in researching the entire field to know exactly what is required. Small men, tall men yes have plus and negative points in this scope but again it boils down much to what your doing i.e competition and who really gives a toss if the guy in the gym can lift more then you? concentrate always on yourself look straight ahead and never mind everyone else. Distraction leads to self destruction.

Really good post

I believe in genetics to a point. Is it possible to get huge like Arnold... Fuck yes. Old body builders believed in the "No pain, No gain" Eat right and lift. May take sometime until you reach that point. but sure anything is possible.
