Felt a really good stretch the first 2 sets, definitely got that slight burning sensation for the first couple of minutes of the set.

So, make sure you have a solid anchor point where your hanger does not move no matter how hard you pull with your hands. Then, after a few minutes (around 5) of every set, you should be reaching down and tightening your hanger a little more until you cannot tighten it more. The interstitial fluid pushes out after that first few minutes of each set. There's no such thing as "too tight". Tighter is better and getting it right from the beginning is the way to go. Rather than doing like many men do with less proper hanger technique earlier on and then having to re learn things as they are hanging heavier.
