Try to reference scientific sources or at least credible opinion in the future. Anaconda posted an abstract from a scientific journal, which is credible, albeit still open to debate.

Very true, I was only posting those as food for discussion, not as an absolute truth as I only took a few minutes to find them without researching as much as one would need to in order to claim them as fact.
 
Ok well I'd just like to say that I don't believe we've reached an actual conclusion. Lower testosterone immediatley after a shower is EXPenis EnlargementCTED, the whole idea behind it is your killing all this sperm, it's cold as hell so your body turns on certain survival responses and steps up testosterone production for the future because it thinks it needs it. At least thats the ongoing theory behind the cold showers idea so the study that found lower t levels right after the shower proves nothing. Neither do we have proof that they truly work. Man I wish we had some sort of methodical objective way of testing some of these theories out cause as of now once again we really have nothing and I hate not knowing the truth.
 
I believe sperm count and testosterone levels are independent of each other. Also, "survival responses" correlate with a drop in testosterone.
 
God I hate not knowing. We should donate, get like an MOS intern or something who'll be our human guiniea pig. Anything that comes to our minds we can make him do and test out.
 
Even if cold showers do have a small effect on test levels i don't see what benefit it would be to pe,ive ran several aas cycles over the last two years at 750mg-1000mg test Enanth a week and the only benefit as far as pe goes was an increase in sex drive which made it easier to maintain erections while jelqing.
 
Old thread I know but guys have mentioned about cold wraps and showers. From my research since posting in this thread I have noted on more than several occasions that the great oldtime strongmen and bodybuilders took cold baths but it was a brief dip in and out again.
 
The people who say it does not increase your T is need to get their facts right.
Very cold water causes the gonadal tissue to contract and shriver,this stimulates the production of T.
If you need to prepare for an fight,get into an ice cold bath and you will be more agressive.

Hydromaxmm...I think that is so other ways to make your testeron level higher so this will not be so important to me.
 
Well if my test level were 3,000 and it didn't help with Penis Enlargement, I doubt an increase of 30 would do much.

I have been doing the cold shower thing for awhile. Cold showers help with healthy skin,hair,etc. And if your one of these who have bags under your eyes these will reverse that effect.

One thing I have learned as those bags get worse when your around heated areas over time(Blazing hot showers,jacuzzi) cause the heat makes them retain moisture. Cold shower tighten your skin and reverse that saggy looking skin.

I always take cold showers after working out and I fell so refreshed.
 
Yup the good ol' Scotish showers. They have been around before all of us, and they are suppossed to help you mantain a good overall health.. I dont like cold water too much but when I do it I feel "accomplished". Lately I've been trying to do things that I would't usually do. And it feels good.:) I believe there's some truth to alternating between hot and cold water. Have fun with it.

I've also heard of studies that say sperm count goes up in the winter. This makes sense since sperm production happens at below 98.6 degrees F, which is why your nuts are external organs.

I also go hiking/canoeing a lot, and if I take a jump in the lake, river or stream my muscles feel a LOT better the next day and I sleep better that night too.

Besides, who gives a shit about testosterone? I've never heard of any correlation between T levels and Penis Enlargement gains, and there's a lot more going on in your body than testosterone. If you're healthy, you'll have a healthy T level.
 
Cold water flushes metabolic waste so its great after a work out. I've heard it also causes the body to increase metabolism in order to generate heat but I can't confirm that one.
