So I've read cold showers help you in your Penis Enlargement by raising testosterone. My question is how long and how cold must this shower be. Also some have made the distinction between taking a cold shower and just running your nuts through really cold water for 3 min, which do you guys think is better?

yeah but is it just me or does really cold water cause "the boys" to into hiding and cause an pain down there?

so how cold should it be?

man just thinking about the role temp. plays in Penis Enlargement is amazing. we warm wrap them or even soak in warm water before and after a good Penis Enlargement session for loosing things up. we can also chill them to boost test. levels.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Cold showers do NOT raise your testosterone.

Ok, can someone shine some more light on this subject cause right now we got nothing.

If it actually DID raise your test levels, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Its going to raise such a small unnoticable ammount that it's not even worth it. Theres tons of products on the market specifically designed to raise your test levels , but hardly any of them work, so i doubt a cold shower is going to help either. If it were true, it would be a staplemark of the body building community which it is not. There is almost nothing you can do to raise your test levels to any signifigant ammount, unless you have some sort of deficiency of someting like zinc, or unless you do steroids.

I take cold showers and sometimes add Ice in the bath to make it colder.
It relaxes me alot, but I always knew about what it does for the testosterone.
Many athletics do it, I myself did it alot when I was into fitness.
But Medjuan, even when the facts are presented some will still not accept it.
I dont think the raise in testosterone would be huge, but it should increase alittle.
Thats besides the point anyway, because the author of the thread asked does cold showers increase testosterone....the answer is yes it does, but not like say supplement....but that doesn't mean its useless.
Pure Ignorance, and a lack of understanding is what blinds people to something that can help them, and indeed be done so simply.
It will never take off to peak levels in the BB world, because its not a particulerly nice thing having cold water or icy water going over your private regions...so take the easy route and intake supplements....theirs the answer to that.

Excellent now were getting somewhere. So how long and how cold should the water be? I can handle pretty cold water but at one point it's so cold I can't help but jumping out. Also should I do this for the whole shower or just couple min?

Just "douse"... get in, run the shower cold for a couple of seconds, then get out.

Many people use buckets of cold water and dump it over their head. I have done versions of this associated with russian and japanese martial and spiritual arts.

You DO need to give it time though. Don't expect an effect (like with eveything else) in a couple of days.

cold showers does help increase testosterone.
I doubt it, but various exercises, particularly progressive resistance(weight training) will.

Effects of physical exercise and cold stimulation on serum testosterone level in men.

Sakamoto K, Wakabayashi I, Yoshimoto S, Masui H, Katsuno S.

Department of Hygiene, Hyogo College of Medicine.

The concentrations of testosterone (TS) and other related hormones in serum were examined before and after physical exercise with a bicycle ergometer (90 Watts, 20 min.) and a cold water stimulation in 32 19-year-old males. While exercising, the serum TS level significantly increased by 20.8% (p less than 0.05), the luteinizing hormone (LH) level by 3.6% (p less than 0.05) and noradrenaline (NA) level by 140.0% (p less than 0.01). During cold water stimulation, TS decreased by 10.0%, LH increased by 22.1% and NA decreased by 23.8%. Based on changes in hormone levels within the individual during the loads. there was a significant positive correlation coefficient (r) between TS and LH, and between TS and NA, with r (TS-LH) = 0.399 (p less than 0.05) and r (TS-NA) = 0.481 (p less than 0.05) for physical exercise, while r (TS-LH) = 0.403 (p less than 0.05) and r (TS-NA) = 0.431 (p less than 0.05) for cold water stimulation, respectively. These results suggest that physical exercise increases TS level in serum by increasing LH and NA levels, but these tendencies were not found with cold water stimulation.

I like the way this is going.

Now, in that abstract, it talks about "cold water stimulation". I would not doubt the results they got, but it sounds to me like they took samples during the exposure to cold water or maybe inmediately after.
If cold water temporarily lower testosterone, I would expect repeated (daily maybe) exposure to cold water to cause a response in the body, raising test levels to counter this decrease.
I am no biologist or doctor, but this makes sense to me. What do you think?

Splak look there's no reason to discuss this any further. Redz I'm sorry, but your I think it's more your pure ignorance and lack of understanding here no offense. Assuming you could boost your test levels by 5% with the cold water treatment, it is definetly NOT worth it. Having to endure cold water just for something totally unproven? Thats a bit much. Average test levels are between 400-800, so lets say 5% of 600, that's a raise of 30. Thats not worth shit. You're not going to notice any difference at all with anything. The only thing high test levels help anyways is your body for excercise. IMO test levels have very little to do with Penis Enlargement, at least in the average level range. i dont think anyone on the high end of average is going to gain faster than the low end of average, so there is really no point in doing it at all, unless your a hardcore lifter and really desire that extra 5% gain.

Did not know this, does anyone have data on this?

No but there is data against this, as seen in post #14. Cold water raising test is nothing more than an old wives tale.

Medjuan,

You need to be careful of believing everything that you read on the net. Anyone can write up a pile of shit and post it on the internet as gospel truth... but it's still shit. Those two references were a commercial and an opinion, and both were worthless in answering the question posed about testoserone levels.

Try to reference scientific sources or at least credible opinion in the future. Anaconda posted an abstract from a scientific journal, which is credible, albeit still open to debate.

Cheers!

AHa, looks like I got it wrong lol
I always thought it were true, nevermind you learn new things here.
