Average penis size fallacy explained

I think the Penis Enlargement community has fallen into a great error, as regards looking to average penis size as the ruler and marker. We forget that average is only one of many means of measuring centeral tendancies. Average is MEAN, but there is also MODE, and MEDIAN, hence to say something is average is not accurate in relation to what most women will run into in society. MODE is the most frequent appearing number in a population and this is what the Penis Enlargement comminity should look for. Condom manufacturers understand this clearerly and have kept it secret. They understand that the average penis is around 5-6 inches but the MODE or most occuring penis size is infact 7 inches, and the only thing which makes the average penis size 5-6 is the extreme scores on either side of the scale. So do you want to consider the 2 inch penis and the 11 inch penis as determinants in the average calculation? or rather look at what really is out there?

Let me tell you this, what most women are facing out their is not a 5-6 inch penis but rather a 7 inch penis, because this is the MODE and most occuring size, hence the 7 inch condoms. If you watch the documentary "the perfect penis" some women were asked to make out of clay the size of penis they usually encounter on one night stands on the week end, and all of them made a 7 inch penis.

Hence, if you are of average size, this does not mean you are the same size as most penises out there, this is an illusion and you painfully but truthfully are falling rather sort of the mark. On the positive side, Penis Enlargement does work.

Ok first off why the Hell would the condom manufactures try to cover anything up? They have to make a standard condom to fit the longer end of the penis out there. That is why the condoms are longer than average.

Second if what you say is true and girls see a 7 inch penis more than any other size and if the true average penis size is 5.5 then there must be alot of guys with 4 inch dick staying home.

Your wrong here. Re-watch it and in actual fact they were asked to make the clay penis that is correct but not what they usually encounter on a 1NS but the IDEAL size they would like! A difference and also as has been mentioned in several threads here on that documentary is how can they take an actual visual experience and inch for inch near enough 100% precision make an accurate model like that? give me a break, one of those cocks was like a horse's, thicker then mine and my dick is over 7 inches in girth at parts.

I do understand where your thinking is with everything else, the mode etc but from all my personal experiences with having sex, seeing sex in person, doing group sex, dogging and seeing other nude guys in showers I have rarely seen large dicks! You are correct when you state that Average is not the most common because as you stated earlier, that is the Mode. I do not believe 7 inches is the Mode and I feel most guys on here in that range can attest that their partners do not consider it to be the norm.

What i think if very relevant. Besides i have only ever seen 7 inch in locker rooms, and as a former cop, i asked a lot of hookers in my careers what the average size was, and always got the 7 inch answer, some would not answer so i use to lock them up, they had no place outside on the streets anyhow, and sometimes i had to beat it out of them, and sometimes i would spy, and that is what brought me to this forum in the first place.

Statistically speaking the mode is a worthless number unless you actually have a very large sample, I doubt there has been an investigation measuring say 100,000 cocks?
A more valuable statistic would be the median, if we consider height, in America average height is 5'10 but median height is 5'9, so if you are 5'9 you would be taller than 50% of men and equally shorter than the other 50%.
The mean in a population tends to be higher in any case than the median when it comes to natural phenomenon such as height/penis size. To claim the mode is 7 inches would have a profound impact on the mean and the mean tends to the mode in many cases and hence normality, or if not the same they are very similar, I'm talking less than a half inch either way. So if the mode was 7 inches in reality then we would be looking at average size being around 6.8 - 7.2 or there abouts, which is not in line with any investigations on average penis size.

I think you're wrong here. Most data would seem to indicate that the distribution of penis sizes is positively skewed. That means the mode would actually be smaller than the mean. Think about it, no penis can be smaller than zero inches but there is (technically) no upper limit. So if we take the average as 6, then we might (very rarely) get someone who is 13" but no one who is -1"! I'd also bet that there are more 9" than 3" penises out there. Under the assumption of a positive skew, if mean penis size were 6" then the mode would be around 5.5".

The fact is you can not assume that someone's flaccid is 2 to 3 inches smaller than their erect. My personal flaccid would be close to 2 inches while being naked in a cold locker room while i have a 6.5 bpel.
