I can smoke marijuana daily but I rarely drink alcohol.

IIRC excessive alcohol consumption can lower your testosterone levels and/or raise your estrogen levels. Plus being a depressant it can lower your overall sex drive.

Back to Jelqing and back on the Forums! 2 things that will do great good! So glad to hear you have stopped drinking, that is one of the worse things someone can get hooked on. It took me years to quit but when I did I did not have to completely quit. I was drinking 1.75 l bottles every night. My kids were living with me at the time and the night before they went on vacation I was throwing up all over the place. They had friends over and I made a fool of myself. When they went the next morning on vacation I knew I need to do something. I got on my knees and I begged God to help me, whatever it was I should do I was wiling to do it. The Spirit said, "drink Red Wine in the memory of Jesus and you will no longer have this problem again" I was confused at first as I thought how can I quit drinking by drinking??? I soon found out. I fist had a deep appreciation for the red wine as it does remind of the blood of Christ. I also noticed that after one or two glasses I am falling asleep. From that day to today, being 6 years, I have never touched vodka again and I have never gone past 2 glasses of wine in a day. This works so much better for me than quitting, quitting becomes a rule "Thou shall not drink" this does not work with me. I need to have no rules or laws to be successful. Laws only make me think more about the think I desire to stop.

You must have battled with various forms of addictions in the past. You are very lucky to have survived all this

Indeed and I owe every bit of it to Christ. I did not need AA I needed the Holy Spirit.

When you said you do not need AA what exactly do you mean?

huge-girth it's a program to work towards sobriety. The most common is AA but there's variations for drugs, gambling, etc. Group support can be extremely helpful. There's people to call you on your BS if you screw up or are lying to yourself. You can find people who are 2 days or 20 years sober.

It certainly works for those who work at it. Maintaining sobriety isn't an easy thing for some people and they need that structured support in their lives.

The Anonymous part is simply to state that what happens in a meeting STAYS in a meeting. You don't leave and go tell people you saw this police officer or judge or even your neighbor in a meeting. You don't tell their stories to people with names or ways that can identify the person. You can open up and be free to say what you need to say with the knowledge that it won't be used against you.

Thanks for the well detailed explanation Cladred60. I'm learning some English :)

AA for me did nothing but make me want to drink more. They spend their meetings digging up the past, who wants to remember the past! I found my sobriety on my knees.

Good, having a realistic vision is so much better than an overzealous dream.

Heaven knows I don't want to have anything to do with my past. The past should be left where it belongs.

So agree. That is why AA people are always relapsing, all they do is dig up the past. They also feel a need to make 'amends' for their past, which I think is a highly selfish thing to do. Most people I fucked over when I was a drunk never want to hear from me again. Like you said, leave the past where it belongs.

When I was forced to go 3x a week for a year it seemed like a mix of some people digging up the past and others just focusing on 1 day at a time and being positive. Guess it's a matter of finding good meetings and good people.

In the past, when I get drug and misbehave, I start regretting my actions the following day but I also forget about it. I have a friend who always hold on to the past. he will never let go. He keeps regretting some of the good things he did for people in the past. I see him as a wicked person though.

I woke with a boner....first thing for everything :)

woke up with a boner, maybe man did go to the moon!

I woke up twice during the night with a stiffie and then again this morning. All 3 times I had to pee really bad.

I also drank a lot of water last night. I know I've drank more than enough when I pee in the middle of the night. At my age you'd think prostate issues are starting but the frequency and volume of pee match my water intake.

Same with me.

What happens if you Kegel all day? Don't you get morning wood the following day when you wake up?

I’m a kegel master and I have never had morning erections or should I say very rarely. I’ll visit this thread every day and tell you if I get them or not, but it never concerned me.

I believe we all react to Kegel differently.

Not really, the Kegel will do two things to every man that practices them. They will gain strength in erection quality and they will gain endurance in sex. Everyone will develop differently time wise depending on how much time they spend training. Most important is that they are done everyday. Skipping kegels is like skipping gas fro your car.

Every other day might be better. I'm trying to kegel one day and RK the next. You are working muscles. A day of rest between workouts can actually be more beneficial to give the muscles time to heal and build.

The average person (not using steroids) trying to gain muscle mass will alternate which body parts they work on a given day. One routine I've seen is 6 days a week: back & biceps, chest and triceps, legs, repeat for 3 more days, have a rest day, start over again.

I'm doing my best not to skip kegels.

Semi-erection this morning :)

I woke up in the middle of the night with one but I really had to pee. Didn't have one this morning but also wasn't dancing like a crackhead to the bathroom.

Most of this morning wood have something to doing with peeing. There are times when I don't wake up with a morning wood but it is rare.

When your asleep everything relaxes. As your bladder starts to fill it gets lazy and rests on your prostate which causes an erection.

To be honest I have morning wood every single morning. Sometimes is very hard sometimes is not too very hard but have.
After starting my PE journey my morning wood is stronger the before.

Yes it's like that for most people.
