Don't start out at that weight if you are just beginning hanging. At your flaccid length I'd start out at 7.5 lbs and work up weekly. You'll start seeing changes when you reach 10 lbs.

I assume you are not using a LG hanger? More details on the actual hanging?

Malehanger all day baby!!! hahaha
Although i do wonder if it will hold up with 50+ pounds.
And, i'm just doing straight down hanging.

I appreciate your concern, but ive been into PE for a long time now, and when i originally began hanging back in 2011 with a bib hanger, i used 15 right off the bat, did nothing.
Also, just to test things out, i tried a set of 30 lbs, and although i had a great stretch, i still feel i'd like to kick it up a notch.

Be careful and reach out to me if you need any help. I'm confident Malehanger would support at least 80lbs with the supplied hook. With a stronger hook, much more.

So, i've been hanging pretty regularly for about a month now @ 15 lbs, and not even a hair of length has come (which i pretty much figured) so starting tomorrow, i am going to be hanging at 40 lbs :)
I know i was originally supposed to do this, but i figured why rush thru the weights, if i can make gains starting from lower, because as you know, once you become accustom to a weight, the gains stop, and there no where to go but up higher in weight, so it's important to squeeze out as much gains from each weight.
That being said, im an impatient mf, and id like an inch or atleast half by mid august (be deep in some pussy:) maybe i should start posting more often aswell.
kkinda pissed that i wasted another month, but screw it, also im going to be taking measurements each week, instead of waiting a month.

I would make the jump in a few steps, going from 15 to 40 is a big jump. I suggest going for 20-25, than 30-35 than 40. This will be the safest routine and no gains will be lost, as a matter of fact you will continue to grow through this process. Take you time Jekyll or you may bring out Hyde :)

Yes, and please email me Jekyll, I have some things I'd like to ask and also see if you need any assistance. Be careful, big jumps can cause bruising.

@DLD, hahaha ya you're right, maybe ill just move up to 25-30, ive hung 30 before and i was completely fine, but it feels light to me, back in the day i used to pull my stretches hard. lol
@still ok sure, what's your email?

Yes, keep increasing but at a moderate progression. Jumping 20 pounds can cause an immediate injury. There is no race, you can get there in smaller steps safely!

Kinda lost motivation now, been going for 3 weeks solid @30, still NO gains, not even in flaccid stretch.
I'm bumping up tp 40lbs which was my original plan, i've done one set back almost 2 months ago when i first started, and the stretch felt awesome.
When i did 30 lbs last month it didn't really give a good stretch , but i figured maybe it was just in my head, so i figured why rush gains, but now it's been another 3 weeks and im just done.
ill start with one 20 min set (or 2x10) and after three weeks ill do 2 20 minute sets (or 4x10)
it only takes your body 3 weeks to adapt.

Bump the weight up! You should at least see a slight increase in flaccid stretch, since you are not you need to increase weight.

Ya, thats what i'm thinking, more weight more stretch.

With hanging there needs to be a steady and progressive weight increase to keep gains coming.

I'm deconditioned because of a long ass break (unexpected) but may be a good thing.
I'm going to be starting on monday, 40lbs for 20 minutes a day (two 10 min sets) last time i hung 40 lb for three days and my flaccid stretch was up 1/8'', so i really do believe 40 lbs is my ''overload'' weight at which causes plastic deformation occurs, they used to call it that at least.
still at 7'' bpel, im going to get to 8'', but i'd really like somewhere around 9''.
Also, my girth is 5.1, but im pretty sure that i read heavy hanging has a way of bringing on uniform girth, so that will be great, and we'll see.
I'm not doing any girth this round, i want to see what comes of just hanging heavy.
Also, i want to be more active on the forum for a little bit, i've always been the type to say my piece and dip out, except for in the beginning when i was making solid gains every week. But i want to stay accountable for whether i gain or not, and being more active will keep me in a progressive mind set, wanting to push further, end laziness, less distractions. i think with heavy hanging 1'' to 1.5 is obtainable in about 8 months.
Also, the cool thing about heavy hanging is my flaccid actually stays long, i've always been a massive grower, never a shower in the slightest, but when hanging i love that it stays long af.

I'll be following along to see your progress bro. As I'm a fellow hanger it will be interesting to see what weight brings on a growth spurt for you.
When you hang do you actually reach fatigue during your set?

Cool, sounds good man. And ya, definitely, at higher weights like the 40 lbs ill be starting at, by the time im finished my first 10 min set, i can tell i've exhausted the shaft, ligs, everything, the second set is just furthering the micro-tears, pushing for plastic deformation.
There used to be a post on here about what they do to make peoples legs bigger, and it talked about having to find out at what weight your tissues are overloaded, which allows for size increase.

I'm moving up in weight this week to 13kg . By the time I get to my hanging set my ligs are on 🔥. I pre exhaust everything with the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?83577-Length-master-official-order-thread-now-shipping-06-16-2014!!!]lengthmaster[/words] by doing various stretches to really hit that area.
From my research into hanging it seems that a good few guys only start gaining when they hit that 30 lb mark. From reading Dashmanding's hardcore hanging thread it seemed that that was the key for him. With the way I train and the gradual increase in weight that I follow it will be a few months before I hit that 30lb . I'm hoping this is when I really start packing on the length.
