I'm not sure if you have to or not but I do anyway. I use one sheath over my shaft and one over the cylinder of the max vac, folded down over the part of the other sheath that is outside the cylinder on my shaft. Pics would better explain this but you can check out the MNS forums for a detailed video explanation. And yes, I'm using no more than 5 pounds.

Also, could you compare the VacuHanger and Max-Vac side-by-side pros and cons?

I can't because I haven't used the vacu-hanger yet. It seems to be a little bulkier than the max vac so I thought I would try the sheaths that come with the vacu-hanger on my max vac. Luckily they work just fine so I've got like 6 sheaths now. Hopefully they will last long enough for me to find the material in bulk somewhere.

I put out several emails to different companies last night with the pics I posted above and a couple of them responded already. One told me he didn't have any but he was nice enough to tell me that because of how soft it is, we'll be looking for a tubing product with a 30ish A scale durometer rating.

This just in:

The sheaths are 1" ID x 1/16". Their composition is silicon and petroleum and they're blue. I do not make them, MyNewSize orders them ready-made. We have 1000 sheaths on the way this week, MyNewSize plans to spend next week devoted to sheath orders.

Only 1 suggested that it was a soft material with a 30A hardness rating. 20A would be a rubber band so at least he gave me something. OR you could buy a bunch of latex ruber gloves, cut the thumbs off, use a few on top of each other and wrap a electrical duct tape around the top "layer" to prevent slipage. This will be strong enough for the weight, will keep vacuum and by NOT cutting the tip of the latex thumb you get a good way of annuling the fluid buildup AND avoid the blisters...

Just a thought mate, try it... see how it turns up for you.

I did this at home using a film canister that was harder than the ones used today cause it was old and it work BIG TIME, but if you have the hanger then you don't need this film canister " alternative ",you just need the latex kitchen gloves.

I could even do manuals and they were intense as hell, never slipped and still use this contraption today.

A limit of one replacement pack per month (7 sheaths) Should be ample for anyone training multiple hours. Do you use more than 7 per month with your training? How many sheaths do you use during your session? We are receiving more than 1000 sheaths at the end of the week. That is enough for ALL sheath orders current and previously placed. I only ask that one pack sheath pack be purchased per individual per month. Unless they contact me privately via pm and arrange special orders.

BTC just sent me that reply over at MNS. He apparently disagrees that the sheaths don't last very long. Someone please send him a PM about their experience with these sheaths and their lack of durability. Otherwise we'll be stuck with 7 sheaths at a time.

I just received this email so I hope this company (www.prestigerubber.com) will be able to duplicate our sheaths. I responded and haven't heard back yet but I'll keep you posted. I'll try to order a small sample this time to see if it is the right stuff or not so I don't blow $100+ again.

Well, it looks like I'll be ordering the tubing through autoextender.com. That is THE ONLY place I have been able to find in all the vastness of the fuckin' internet that knows what the hell these sheaths are made of. They're not even the exact same thing but they will work. I'm using what I have left of the autoextender stuff and it works like a charm. Good luck guys.

Thank you SO MUCH for your research here. You are AWESOME! That said, are you giving up on that company that told you they could make OJ or clear ones? Did they not get back to you about the product? Did they not respond to the samples you sent?

For anyone else who uses th MV who has had your sheaths get worn, try this while we are waiting for replacements:


Use the no hand pump sheath dressing method ( sheath on shaft of penis and sheath over the maxvac cylinder -folded down onto shaft) and with a cable clamp (that you use to clamp with - for any clampers out there ) clamp a few clicks tighness around your sheath covered penis base. Then using your pump, pump about 5 hg or so of pressure and use hanger as normal.


With that method, I get no slipage or vacum loss whatsoever. It works great. I think if I had to go into higher weight with the MV - I would certainly HAVE to hang this way to keep the sleeves from being pulled off my penis.

With this method, I have been doing my normal routine of 2-3 1 hour sets a day at SO and SD. It has certainly given my old worn out sheaths some extra milage while I try and figure out where to get replacements. It is something to try if you feel you cant get your worn out sheaths to hold seal anymore.

Sorry I'm late getting back but I decided to go with autoextender.com because their "sleeves" work just as well as our sheaths. I ordered 50 "replacement sleeves" that are about 5.75" long for $175 + shipping. So that is basically 100 sheaths for around $190 total. Being that autoextender's material seems to be a little more durable, 100 sheaths should last a very long time. I'm healing from a couple small blisters right now but I plan on getting started again pretty soon.

Takes a week to heal. Just put some Neosporin or something on it.

It took about 3 days to heal but I probably should have worked through it anyway. As long as they don't pop they don't hurt. Just make sure no chicks see them or you'll never get laid in your town again, lol. I didn't put any cream on it at all but you DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT, want to pop them. I had another blister about 8 months ago and I popped it immediately. Urine and soap got in there and that hurt like fuck.

i freaked out , it was like blowing a bubble while your chewing gum , I have been putting neosporine on it , plus covering it with a band aid for the past 4 days

Hi, Monkeybar here. I haven't posted on this site for a long time. Nothing against the site as I have lots of good friends here - its just too much doing this part time and keeping track of so many forums/email accounts, etc. So take it for what it is (and please don't send me PM's - rather send emails - I'm bit slow, but it will get answered, if I'm not swimming in Spam).

The reason I'm writing this - recently, I've been getting lots of request for sleeve/sheat for MV. I'm not sure what happened with MV sleeve supply or even knew my sleeve will work with MV. But as some users have pointed out, they got my sleeve to work with MV - eventhough its different size/thickness.

I don't normally sell the sleeve to non-customers (nothing to do with trying to sell more of my own stuff - its a bitch to make these), but I'll make an exception. If MV sleeve supply is back to normal, I'll stop (the maker of MV could contact me to stop and I will).

I am currently examining the MV sleeve (someone sent it to me) and it seems like MV sleeve is softer than my current sleeve. So I'll need about 2 weeks to re-tool and formulate the silicone compound. After that, I'll put the ordering option on my website (order page).

The package I'm think of will include 3 sleeves at 1"ID, 1/4" thickness and ~3" in length. Please remember that silicone I'm using are much more durable than the MV sleeves and these 3 sleeves will last a long time - so don't order more than 1. If you need more - order later, I'm not going away.
