So basically you are trying to get lean if am correct? My current body type is skinny fat with a belly. I would love to have six pack abs what do you do for dieting like counting calories and can this be achieved at home?

It can be achieved just by going on a caloric deficit, yes at home. Eat healthy and find your caloric maintenance.

And aerobic exercises, 15-20 minutes a day is great.

I just added exercise about 1 month ago, still have not weighed in yet but I may be able to get in there today, I hope. If so I will post.

You are going to be impressed, believe me :)
I did not weigh in yesterday but I already know I am at the weight I want. I am almost positive I am in the 175 area. What I am most impressed with is the muscle tone and enlargement, I look like I earned it when I never made it to a gym :) God is good to me! Muscles for nothing! I will take final pictures maybe this weekend. As I said, I am not so concerned about the scale, I like what I see in the mirror.

Thats really awesome DLD. Muscles can be retained through time for some people :)

For me it is strange, once I lose the weight the muscles come back so quickly. I did own a Gym for a while and at one point I was pretty freaking huge and ever since that time, if I get fat the muscles fade but as soon as the weight goes the definition comes back. I can't remember who the guy was who said it ws impossible for me to retain muscle while fasting, how far off he is!

Your fat covered your muscles so you didn't look so big :)

Yeah, that is what happens. My fat pad is getting less and less but I fear I would need to lose too much weight to eliminate it. I will have to settle for a half-inch.

There is retention of muscle if you eat properly in order to keep it. I was in a time where I didn't work out for 4-5 months and I kept my muscles, I didn't gain weight or lose weight either. You can retain most muscle if you lose fat properly as well. DLD most likely did very well on his diet and still kept his muscles.

Yeah thats what I said also in a previous post of mine, that he most likely just sees his muscles more but did not gain muscle. I will not agree or disagree though because its not impossible to gain muscle while losing fat. Just need caloric deficit and high protein intake --- while of course working out. He says he did work out though :)
 
Whatever 2slow says he is 2slow to understand. I will take pictures and post them and them lets see what he has to say...maybe he will think a bit quicker.
