There is a penis growth site, perfectpenis.org (no this is not spam) that promotes two different growth programs (although they seem similar to me). The one thing that caught my attention was how they stressed the importance of "warming up the suspensory ligament" to promote growth.

In the past, I've always heard that the warmth was to increase blood flow, but if you look at the graphics on the page, it makes me think of the lig like its a piece of salt water taffy & if you warm it up, it stretches easier.

As far as their programs that they offer for sale, there is no way that they have more to offer than DLD. But it does make me want to find a way to keep everything warm for as much as possible during my sessions.

What do you guys think?

It's possible that warming the tissues of the penis 'may' help with gains. Then again, from my own experience of never using heat consistently in my own efforts, I've still gained. It's just an extra step that consumes even more of my schedule that I'd rather not add into a routine.

Well, IF you follow DLD newbie routine warm up is a must, it's just the way the proper Penis Enlargement session should be conduct, for best results of course, so perfectpenis is not offering something new. It's not the end of the world if you don't do it. I personaly must admit that i never focus on warm up, but i tend to do my streching after long hot shower, whenever is that possible.

So the long, hot shower is the equivalent of a warm-up. For jelqing purposes, I always do a hot rag ten minute warm-up. For stretching, I don't bother.

I've read somewhere that the warm-up helps prevent injuries during stretches. I've also read that the warm-down increases blood-flow after the exercise which makes me conclude that it could help. So the other site I read it off supports the idea of "warming", but who's too say that it could be completely accurate? I do the warm-ups and warm-downs because it feels good. In the morning put more purpose into taking a shower than personal hygiene. I can really understand Stillwantmore's opinion towards the warm-ups and warm-downs. It is highly time-consuming. It takes up at least 20 minutes.

I could see the warm-up being a problem with stretches. With increased blood-flow your penis isn't completely flaccid.

I've also read that the warm-down increases blood-flow after the exercise which makes me conclude that it could help.

In some instances (like high intensity athletic exertion) using heat too quickly can cause extra damage and longer healing times through bleedout, increased inflammation, and even an increase of fibrous adhesions. Heat isn't recommended for at least five or six hours.

Whether or not Penis Enlargement would be the same I dunno, but it seems like jelquing could have similar post-stress concerns.

In that view, one might substitute several cycles of erections instead of immediate post-exercise heat, and maybe use a hotwrap, or other heating method, hours later when it could be more useful as therapy.

the ten minute-12 minute show is usually what i do for the warm up. it was mentioned earlier up here. i would warm up for at least 10 mins, just sit there heatin up the cock. you only got one dick so take as much precautions that you can. that's what i believe. not only do i warm up but i warm down.
