I've noticed a lot of the people who come in and make quick gains utilize rotary cranks. Just how good are these? I've always hated them for the way they make my entire pelvic area feel, so I never used them. Also, I've never made drastic gains despite how hard or long I stretch. I'm wondering if there might be something to rotary cranks.
 
I find it best to use the reverse OK-grip under glans which is palm facing away from you.

Better grip, better stretch, better pizza, Papa John's.
 
I love it. Feels like I get even more elongation when I stretch side to side, up and down. Especially when flaccid I can really feel it loosening things up
 
It is the one stretch that hits every position from the front. If you can only do one stretch this would be the stretch to go for because of how many angles it hits.
 
Am I the only one that gets a weird feeling from all the cords and junk getting tangled around from doing these? I always feel like I'm going to injure myself when I do them.

I get the same feeling and dont do them much because of it. Plus, because of this feeling my pull is less than full force which doesnt feel like I get as much benefit as I could.
 
This is why I never did them as well. Going full force pull is really uncomfortable. Have you made good gains without them?

The ligaments will overlap when doing these and that accounts for the feeling you are getting but it would be impossible for them to tangle. They are a very good stretch due to the territory they cover but if you can't do them the other basic stretches will cover all the angles.
 
Yeah the overlapping is what feels so weird. I'm doing them regardless. Fuck it, I'm growing one way or another haha.

it was worse when i first started doing them but then as i got more accustomed to performing them I could kind of manipulate my movement and know when any weird popping/feeling was going to happen and adjust pressure and movement without sacrificing intensity
 
They feel weird to me too, so I just do them at light intensity after warming up with the rice sock, kinda like an additional warmup, then do regular stretches with intensity

This is because the ligaments have lengthened enough not to overlap as heavily. There will always be a certain degree of overlap but the feelings become less and less as they get longer.
