Sorry to hear that man. Hope things turn more positive for you soon.

My Brother it is a yearly struggle. I have a rather unique form of Bi-polar that leaves me in very long periods of depression and mania. I have become so used to it that I can get by. I try to give all my suffering up to the Lord and try to find as much meaning in it as I can. I would not wish these problems upon anyone, I just hope I can eventually make sense of it and help contribute to helping others who have these problems.

well everyone is different and wees has different effects on everyone. Regarding state of mind only you and you can control. I think one has to have a very healthy respect for the weed, over doing it is abusing the natural relief it gives. Plus, you can't get higher than high. With weed it will take you to the level it takes you and you can't go beyond this level no matter how much more you smoke. This was an expensive lesson for me to learn. Today I leave 24 hours between smoking and when I do smoke I keep it to 7 puffs on the pipe. I enjoy that time and appreciate the feelings but I will never try to go beyond, it is purl a waste of money and a disrespect to the weed's spirituality.

Have you ever used a volcano? It's the top of the line vaporizer and it is the shit for real. Not only does it have an amazing taste and clean high but you will save a ton on weed because it is incredibly efficient. It doesn't take much. And I think it also saves on healthcare costs down the line by keeping my lungs and brain much healthier than if I exclusively smoked.

amen to that volcano vapes are the bomb!!!! i need one for conseration purposes and a cleaner better high

I truly love weed, but for several reasons I have to give it up. I am also bi-polar, and as much as I love weed I don't think it is good for someone with our condition. I think all it does is intensify feelings that we get when either in depression or in mania.

Completely agree with you.
well when you have nothing to do then i guess the first thought that comes to u is weed lol
And i was some what hooked to it but not anymore PE made me quit.:)\
But there are many herbs i know that can be smoke and are healthy.

It is the exact opposite for me, it relieves me of my issues for the time I am high. It gives about an hour of peace with no intrusive thoughts. I guess we are all different.

I get mad paranoid lately and my mind gets flooded with horrible thoughts. I wish I could go back to the old days when weed made everything great, but I think I just need to give it some time.

My mom has been having big time issues sleeping. I just got her a dub of loud to see if it helps her sleep. She finally agreed to try it. I read allot of good things about weed and sleep, any and all suggestions welcomed.

What is it that causes her problems? I think she first needs to go and get checked by a doctor to determine where the problem is (as the body works in a very complex way and there might be multiple reasons causing her inability to sleep). Has she been checked by a PROFESSIONAL doctor? Just go to a professional and get some tests done on her hormonal system and all of her body. I am no professional, but anything can be a cause and you must first find what causes the problem and then treat it.... hope that helps, good luck!

Yes is it normally no sleep or is there some issue that is disturbing her and you may not know about it ......be sure of that cuz apart from weed there are alot of herbs i know of that help in sleep deprivation.

Try to get an indica dominant strain like kush. Indicas have a heavy body high while sativa doms have a bright cerebral high.

She has been to many doctors and has been on many meds. She is taking meds now but she is not sleeping well. She is getting up all through the night. She says she has allot of crazy dreams so she doesn't get any deep sleep. My lady was telling me that when she smoked weed she never had dreams, therefore she could wake up fully rested due to little REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. She stopped smoking weed a year ago because she likes to dream when sleeping. When I researched smoking weed it confirmed what she said.

We got some sour diesel for her but i'm not sure if that is going to be to strong or not, so we may mix some of the tobacco from her cigarettes in it. We could also me some brownies or cookies I suppose and give it to her that way instead of smoking. She is not the type of smoker that inhales so I am not sure if she will choke or not smoking it.

Eating is effective and safe but very expensive so keep that in mind. Same with tea.

A vaporizer is an awesome way to go. I recommend a volcano for overall best vape or a firefly for a smaller portable vape. Just depends on what you guys want to do.

Ok, I see what the problem is... Well if it is the dreams taht bother her, I think there are 2 main options here:

1- Consume (in whatever way- smoke, eat in a dessert or any other way) weed ( I have not read about these effects of the drug, but if you did your research and are confident that it causes people to not dream, I guess it can be a solution to her problem).

2- Go to a special psychologist ( to have a conversation with her and see what the problem is. These professionals are not to be visited by the mad, they are to be visited by everyone. They can understand the human psychology perfectly (maybe not perfectly, but far better than any other professional) and can try to get your mother rid of what is bothering her on a subconcious level). There are many specialsts known in this field- 1- Psychologist (also known as therapists), 2- Hypnotist (someone who can put your mother under a deep state of concentration (also known as "trance") and therefore have PARTIAL (definitely NOT absolute, THOUGH, it depends on your mother's subconcious whether she fully trusts him/her (the hypnotist) or not) control over her to induce suggestions such as "You are not going to have any dreams from this moment on". It is not popular (this profession), but it is indeed real and effective (I have read a lot about this as I wanted to be a hypno-therapist myself, but that was years ago). Do a research and see what you can find about such kind of therapies. Many people report to have stopped smoking, reduced drug intake, lose bodyweight etc. using this method. Do your research and see if it is "trustworthy" yourself), 3- Hypno-psycho-therapists (these people are specialized in both human psychology and hipnosis and are by far the ones that can either correct or mess up ones mind. I am sure that if you do your research you will find more info on these professional therapists).

Weed might be a temporary solution (as it is not the root that will be treated, but the surface only). Dreams are absolutely psychological and only psychology or mind related therapists can treat that (I think). This is the advice I can give you, I hope it works! Good luck! :)

Like I said, when I get any kind of ill effects I just smoke more and they will go away. Weed has too many good qualities to not keep it in my routine. It really is the only relief I get from the crap I am usually feeling.

She has talked to Therapists as well as special Doctors for sleep. They just want to keep her dosed with Seroquel and other meds that is not helping with her sleep. She has never tried the hypnotist.

I am thinking about making a tea.
