I read in something about yoga that stretching for under a minute was basically just showing how flexible you are, 1-2 mins to increase flexibility. Now, I know we aren't doing yoga, but does this have any use? Like if I did newbie stretches but just worked up to doing them longer

I can see singe truth to that. Increasing the duration and intensity on the stretch. I guess that's why some wear an extender(like myself) since your basically holding a strech for long periods of time with tension also. Eventually your hands start to tire out. But thats where the ADS like the phallosan n extenders come into play. Im sure others can chime in on this. Good luck on your pe journey bud!

Both apply and add length. 30-60 second stretches use a great deal of intensity and if using the LengthMaster it brings a limitless intensity. These shorter timed stretches are far more powerful than any extender so these bring gains in an intensified way, short but strong stretches. The longer stretching is less intense but allows for length because of the length of time the stretch is held. Essentially, the longer you can hold a stretch that is beyond your normal length the faster gains will be. There is also the healing or passive component to extenders like the SG, PMP and Phallosan. This is when a stretch is held moderately for long periods to cement gains. So, in my opinion, the best is both. SRT is a great example of a routine that facilitates all methods to be sure all gains can be made.
