Just a quick question here. I've been hanging for a couple months and trying various wrapping techniques. I have read in the forums about to much pressure on the glands is not a good thing. I wrap about a inch behind the glands and attach my hanger about a 1/2 inch behind the wrap but after about 15 minutes i feel pressure increasing in the glands. Im only using 5lbs, i still have feeling in the glands but it is real firm is this normal or should there be hardly no pressure or minimal pressure because of gravity being in place here. Im a newbie can you elaborate in this for me.

You shouldnt be feeling that type of pressure in the glans and if its left than it will start to turn a darker colour as it bruises or become colder in temperature. I think you should wrap further up the shaft as your weight sounds fine to me. I've located two good threads that may help you HERE and also HERE
 
Like Red said, pressure should be minimal. I would suggest spending some time with much heavier weight and wrapping just for practice, not sets. If you can master this going back to light sets will be a breeze.
 
So you mean use heavier weight and shorter hanging time, is that correct? I have a lot of foreskin because i've been doing jelqs for awhile and it seems no matter how i wrap i cant gather up the loose skin which causes the hanger to slide during hanging. I do practice just wrapping but it is a tricku thing i must say.

oh yeah and just how tight should the hanger be, I believe i have it tight, not suppossed to hurt right? I only use a cotton cloth and [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] wrap which seems to work well , i just get slippage and I tighten my hanger almost all the way as not to cut off circulation. Like i said before my problem is that why i hang the wrap slides and then all the weight is then placed on the glans when it should not be.

Cotton cloth and [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ACE bandage[/words] is way too thick. Thick wrap means tightening the hanger too much for a given weight. Get adjusted to using Theraband only. Another issue is the wrap is wrapped too tightly. This will cause the glans to pressurize. Always wrap loosely. Only the hanger should be tight. (But only tight enough to hold a given weight without slippage. Don't tighten just for the sake of tighening: you need to give vessels and nerves a chance to accommodate hanging. Strangling your penis will prevent or at least slow adaptation.)

The idea of the wrap is only to protect your skin from the hanger. That's why you only need a thin layer. Thin layers of wrap don't slip like thick layers do.
 
The idea is to get a happy medium between comfort and effectiveness. A tight wrap may be the culprit of a lack of blood flow and cause many negative issues while if the wrap is too tight it can cause slippage and skin burn from this. As I said, I think getting the wrap down first and then master the exercise. It took me some time to find a good technique but with the help of Stillwantmores tutorial and a couple of my own modifications and I had it down perfect.
 
Wrapping has improved a bit I have went from 5 to 10 pounds but still have some slippage not much I usually just take the hanger off and rewrap which sometimes is a pain. I use a thin layer of cloth like t-shirt material and I wrap real loosely which has helped me dramatically. I dont use theraband because I have trouble with that like skin pinching and I know that is from not wrapping correctly with it its kinda tough to do, but my wife helps me when I need her to :). I think I maybe overimphasizing pressure a bit, because i know there is going to be some pressure so I have went with tht if its soft when i poke on the head and its not cold then Im okay, right? I still get a lot of skin up around the glands which I believe is the real culprit attributing to the slippage I wish I could elimanate that aspect when I wrap but it always seems to come in to play any ideas from the veterans out there. I've watched the wrapping tutorial abot twenty times, hes got it down good and makes it look so easily and I have follwed him step for step and I cant get it like he does, but I notices he uses several layers of wrap which is for much heavier weights right? What does "btc" and "ads' and the many other abbreviations out there mean and what should I know about them, remember im a newbie only going on my second month of hanging, wasted about two years with the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extenders[/words] when I could of had two years invested in hanging and making the gains that Im looking for, but you live and you learn right. Any replys would be much appreciated.

Less wrap, less slip. Thinner wrap, less slip. If you put a very light coat of vaseline on your skin (VERY LIGHT, but thorough), the theraband will not pinch or stick.

Skin bunching is necessary and is where the weight will press. You cannot expect your glans to take it alone. That's why you wrap so far back: the bunched skin performs the function of creating the "shoulders" to hold the weight.
 
I have listened to your guys advice and have gotten better at wrapping and hanging also, but what I have noticed is that I have gained alot of foreskin. I know skin growth is required to accommadated penis length, but Im talking about alot. When Im done hanging my penis disappears into this caccoon like sack lol like its hibernating and shit is that normal or an expected result? I took a FBP measurement today and it measured 7 1/2" and that is quite the gain for just over a month and a half. I think Im gonna take a week off and see what my gains are like after a week and to see if the extra skin issue is resolved by actual penis lenght increase, what do you think?
 
You're going to gain extra skin around the frenulum. It can happen from your earlier days when you were wrapping tightly or too close to the glans. In my experience it doesn't keep growing there but it is more than you want.

Your bone pressed flaccid can't be shorter than your erect length.
 
Yeah I just measured that cause it didnt seem right to me either and if i did it right, measuring from the side of the penis and pulling forward while pressing against the pubic bone I come up with 7 3/4 BPFL. Im on my fourth day of rest cause I want to give my ligs a chance to rest so I can get true measurements cause I believe all the previous measurements listed above are going to change quite a bit.

A more consistent measurement would be measuring from the center of the pubic bone to the tip as this will be a consistent, concrete measurement. It will be a shorter measurement but it will consistently be accurate.
 
I did what you said DLD and yes it was shorter 7 1/4 instead of 7 3/4 but i do have about an inch of fat pad but yeah i think this would be a more accurate measurement.
 
Little red splotches on the glands and on my shaft, is this from to much pressure on the glands and the hanger being tightened to tight? Im up to 15lbs and i have to trouble with that weight it seems to be not enough although i get good lig pull but after a couple of sets it feel pretty light dont feel much pull. I do when i hang straight down after a couple sets of hanging straight out. I do jelq after stretching but i dont think the jellqing is the culprit for the splotches cause i have been jelqing on and off for 3+ years so is this just skin growth or am I doing something else wrong. 3 months into hanging, newbie still lol.
