Nitroglycerin and PE

I'm a medical school student and I hadn't really thought about the correlation, but nitroglycerin is often used as a vasodilator. We're always supposed to handle it with gloves for a very good reason. Sometimes applied through IV, I've seen someone use it without gloves and almost instantly pass out due to the intense vasodilatation from a few drops. Obviously this depends on concentration. But my thoughts were...

During full erection, application of a transdermal patch could possibly increase blood flow inside the penis by dilation. To what extent, I'm not sure. Anyways, you get the idea.
 
I wouldn't try it. Nitroglycerin dilates both arteries and veins (more so than arteries) and you only need dilation of arteries and constriction of veins in the penis to achieve an erection. It might work but it would be hard, pun intended, to get the dose right. Also taking a nitro and a PDE-5 inhibitor, like cialis or viagra, is very dangerous and could lead to heart attack or stroke if taken within 24 hours of each other. Why not just take a PDE-5 inhibitor? Sorry we just went over antianginals and antiarrytHydromaxics in pharm.

It doesn't work. I'm a paramedic and I tried the spray form of NTG w/ no luck. Plus, the risk of a sudden drop in BP is not worth the risk.
 
I have used the spray approx 3 or 4 years ago on my penis glans. I applied it all over the penis glans and noticed my erection did become better. Its in my logs going waaaay back if you care to search in the routines section. Its dangerous because it can clash with various medications and conditions, so I would never do it now as my meds would clash with it and kill me. I do think it would have potential but has lots of serious risks. Keep us informed on your research and experiements in this.

I agree. I wasn't at the point of actually trying this, but the thought did emerge in my mind.

My thoughts on using a transdermal nitro patch over PDE-5 was that the nitro patch would essentially increase levels of cGMP, providing more blood flow to CC. This combo would be good with jelqs. My only initial decline from PDE-5 was that it would merely inhibit degradation of cGMP, prolonging erection rather than actually increasing blood supply. Nitro would relax smooth muscle supplying CC while PDE-5 would merely prolong erection by preventing degradation of cGMP.
 
Grays I like your medical scientific approach to pe, will you stay around the forums and get into this? Whats your thoughts about clamping and how that works from a medical view. If you like PM me and we can chat when your free.
 
My apologies on my delayed reply. Med school is quite demanding.

Gathering my thoughts and comparing statistics on nitroglycerin concentration levels during erections, it appears that in order to supplement an erection in substantial quantities, only nitroglycerin concentrations that would be effective for Penis Enlargement would have to be supplied by prescription from a doctor. This, perhaps, could be circumvented by an individual whom already possessing such prescription in the form of a transdermal patch. But, even if possessing transdermal patches, I fail to believe that the prescription would last long enough to provide substantial results regarding Penis Enlargement, that one would not be able to simple achieve by performing jelqs.

Redzulu. I'd be happy to provide my medical input on your clamping. As far as pming me, I have somewhat of a precarious schedule. I believe the best way to converse would be through posts such as this.

Clamping. I've yet to explore this avenue of Penis Enlargement, I'm currently in the stages of hanging. My understanding is that a cable clamp is applied during full erection in order to maintain blood pressure, but also applying external force in attempts to expand the penis, i.e. girth gaining. If you have any particular questions about clamping and it's relation to the anatomy, I'll be happy to put some effort into giving you the best answer I can Redzulu.
 
I tried the nitroclyrin spray, by spraying it on the dick, didnt seem to have any effect, docs, can it actually pass through skin?
 
I take L-arginine. It's a natural hemodilator. It increases nitric oxide levels in the blood kinda like Cialis only it's a natural amino acid supplement. There are also less possible side effects. I take 1000mg 3 times a day with meals. I got results in a day or two. I'm talkin rock hard erections. It also helps get that pumped look if you workout.
 
Its used for Angina attacks and sure the L-Arginine helps as its increasing nitric oxide levels but I would think its positive effect doesnt last forever, mine didnt.
 
Have any of you guy's tried amyl nitrate (poppers) goes by lots of names "Jungle Juice" ect. It's a potent vasodilator and causes a huge drop in blood pressure. You drip a little onto a piece of cloth and hold it up tight to your nose and inhale deeply when you are at or close to the point of no return. It will make your cock look and feel enormous and you will damn near black out when you cum.

WARNING: amyl nitrate is dangerous and I do not recommend trying it
 
So I just tried this, as an experiment. I was prescribed this for an anal fissure I had formed, after some surgery down there.

I applied a small amount to the glans and shaft, and PC muscle area (bare-handed, as I have no gloves). I almost instantly developed a headache and weakness. I did this flaccid, to see the effect. My flaccid is hanging at its full flaccid measurement, the glans are much more full than normal and just minor movement is causing semis.

I'm not sure how far I'll go, experimenting with this. The headache is pretty strong but is fading fast (I did this 25 minutes ago and the headache is already fading). The doctor said that if I applied this to the area I was supposed to, while bare-handed, I -will- experience a headache. So I'm going to try once more, when I get some latex gloves.

I haven't read up on the above and just seen the idea come across, but will look more into it. Pubmed Search

As w/ any topical or injection, you're going to want to apply some type of clamp/cockring to keep everything within the penis as to prevent the chems from going systemic. Which is probably why the headache arose.
 
So, the headache came back and lasted throughout the day (3:02 PM here, right now). It's almost faded now but the feeling was AWFUL. x.x Throughout the day, my penis was easily aroused. For a short period, while working out this morning, it had a bit of an ache but that faded quickly. I'll do this again on my Sunday (US Saturday) with some gloves and a cockring.

So I ended up trying this last night, with a cockring on. I applied it with a q-tip, to the glans and upper shaft. I felt a little flush with a mild ache, but nothing compared to the massive headache from before. It definitely seems to improve EQ. My erection angle was more upright than usual. Normally I hang slightly down or straight up, unless I'm super horny. This time, it stood with absolute ease.
 
That's nice to hear. I can't believe I never heard of nitroglycerin for PE before. Especially since I keep track of a lot of the PGE/VEGF/HGH/PRP/IGF/PDE5-i/TB4-5/Papaverine/DHT/MGF/ETC talk across the boards.

How extensive if your research into nitroglycerin as an EQ aid?
Are you using it mainly for an EQ aid, PE aid, or is it just a one off experiment as you stated in earlier posts?

I still haven't checked out the studies in regards to this, but I still got them bookmarked.
Doubt I would ever try this as I don't hear much about it being used in the boards. Maybe due to systemic reasons or maybe there are problems even when localized.
 
It's just a one-off experiment, since I no longer need the prescription for what it was intended for. I'll probably be messing around with it, until the tub runs out (it's pretty big and I don't have to use much at all). It's definitely not something I view as healthy, being a very health-minded person. The only research I did was in regards to side effects and seeing some studies on the application of this versus minoxidil (or something). As long as something doesn't risk burning my skin or otherwsie visually-damaging, I'm usually up for trying it.
