I would like to know your thoughts, as I have heavily taken up hanging again too. I use a vac-hanger, and have been doing 10lbs, for a long time beforehand. As I got into it again, I soon upped that 10 to 12.5lbs. I try to do 2 sets a day of 30 mins, morning and night. I also use heat, and have yet to see any gains.
 
here is my theory. adsing, or lighweight hanging can lengthen the tunica through constant stretching. my guess is, wihout doing more than 60 minutes a day of extension there will come a point where you will need to add
1) time at that tension
2) tension for that time

It is very possible you have gotten all the gains you will get with 2x40 minuts (at one angle expecially). Do not be disheartened though - it is always good to milk everything you can out of low weights and not a lot of time.

Be creative with angles, be determined in your hangs to reach fatigue. If you are like me you will need a different type of hanger soon as the vacum was not comfortable over 12 pounds.
 
For me the bib was too uncomfortable past maybe 8lbs. My glans are too small to actually grip well I believe. Ive had best luck with vacuum devices. Which do you use, a bib correct?
 
well I have a taper, and it seems to make the bib easier to slip than average. I use a wrap, and than the skin bunches up around the glans, and I get discomfort. I may try it again at some point, but it tends to put pressure on a big vein as well. The vac I can hang for 30mins, although I definitely had to get used to it, and get a wrap down for this as well. Is 1hr a day enough? 2 30 min sets...
