Bib,

This is the whole point of my problem and lack of support for Bush. Immediately after 9/11 he had the support of BOTH sides of the ailse. The way I see it, he had his shot at capturing OBL and failed. Time for someone else to lead and give it a shot. Would Kerry or anyone else have done a better job? Who knows. Bt handing the job off to Pakistan and not going in with everything we got was a mistake. And I will feel like that for ever. Not going into ANYWHERE to get this guy is a mistake. The fact that he is still around pulling strings is just a finger in our(USA's) eye everyday.

Letting these other countries handle what is inside their own borders may be fine as an "official" policy, but you and I both know that his support knows no national borders. It would be no small surprise to me that some Pakistani official already knows where OBL is hiding and is in fact some sort of Alquadi/OBL supporter or sympathizer.

I know you may not think so, But I am absolutley OUTRAGED at what happened on 9/11 and even MORE OUTRAGED that this is guy is still walking around. What? He's in those mountains? Let's drop LOT's of our mountain-go-bye-bye bombs and problem solved. Those mountains are where? Tough shit. You got one week to go up and get him out of those mountains or say by-bye to your mountains.

OBL has made a statement that he wishes for/dreams about an "American Hiroshima". You know those small strategic Nukes I was talking about earlier in this discussion, he has the connections, money and organization to put that plan into effect if he gets a hold of a few of those bad boys.

How would Bush/GOP respond then when it is not just a few blocks that is in ashes, but entire cities?

Above all, OBL MUST be captured or killed or a lot more people may die regretting it.

Bib,
Governments are just afraid of anything unknown, so they create ethical commities. Am I wrong here when I think nuclear, bacteriological and chemical bombs are the Real dangers? Why then aren't there any "ethical" commities set up to control production and protect us from these? I think it is because nuclear bombs aren't considered dangerous enough, even if they can wipe out tens of thousands of people in a few seconds. I guess creating epidemics that might ravage humanity is not considered serious enough to worry about.

koooky,

>This is the whole point of my problem and lack of support for Bush. Immediately after 9/11 he had the support of BOTH sides of the ailse.<

I think this is bullshit. Immediately after 9/11, everyone WAS on the same page. But very soon after, the dems were looking for ways to advance their political agenda. In recent months, they have not been united against terrorism whatsoever. They are looking to use it as a wedge issue. What happened to the times when politics ended at the border? It is really a shame when political party is more important than the country as a whole.

>The way I see it, he had his shot at capturing OBL and failed. Time for someone else to lead and give it a shot.<

Bullshit again. We do not even know if Bush ever actually had a shot. Clinton had AT LEAST three shots, and new information tends to show he really blew it concerning UBL. If these new revelations are true, Clinton should be shot.

>Would Kerry or anyone else have done a better job? Who knows. Bt handing the job off to Pakistan and not going in with everything we got was a mistake. And I will feel like that for ever. Not going into ANYWHERE to get this guy is a mistake. The fact that he is still around pulling strings is just a finger in our(USA's) eye everyday.<

So, we invade Pakistan, (and that is what it would take) and then we are fighting in at least two countries, and have millions more traditionally peaceful Muslims against us? After all, Pakistan is democratic no need for regime change. Not a good idea. What do you think the international community would think about that? Violating the borders of a democratic country?

>Letting these other countries handle what is inside their own borders may be fine as an "official" policy, but you and I both know that his support knows no national borders. I am sure you are correct. At some point, Bush will have to push the agenda. But there have been many Al Queda members captured recently in Pakistan. Not UBL, but some top guys. Perhaps this will lead to something. Of course, I still say the motherfucker may be dead already.

>I know you may not think so, But I am absolutley OUTRAGED at what happened on 9/11 and even MORE OUTRAGED that this is guy is still walking around. What? He's in those mountains? I saw good program on the region just a couple days ago. We do not have that many non-nuclear bombs to take out those mountains. Not even close. Not even if we had precise coordinates. That is probably the best, and easiest area to defend on the face of the earth. It will take knowledge, and boots on the ground to root him out. If he is there.

>OBL has made a statement that he wishes for/dreams about an "American Hiroshima". You know those small strategic Nukes I was talking about earlier in this discussion, he has the connections, money and organization to put that plan into effect if he gets a hold of a few of those bad boys.<

I know. It is scary as hell.

>How would Bush/GOP respond then when it is not just a few blocks that is in ashes, but entire cities?<

Well, for one thing, it would give him the backing of the people to do many things he cannot do now.

>Above all, OBL MUST be captured or killed or a lot more people may die regretting it.<

I agree. Or find out what happened to him. Some concrete knowledge. I would think we could have had imbedded plants within the parent organization by now. But it may be very difficult to do that. At any rate, there are more members in that close knit organization that need to be taken out also. We have about 90 percent of the top guys, but 100 percent would be nice.

We are not far off in our feelings. But I used to be a democrat. My entire family are democrats. I know how they think and their natural tendencies. They would have done nothing compared to the amount Bush has done. They would still be trying to establish lines of communication with Al Queda, in the hopes of negotiation.

I do not have a clue what you are writing about.

Just noticed this post and thought I would respond, as I was in London on 7 July, and have lived there for many years.

Everyone in the UK is sickened by the actions of these naive, brainwashed little boys, and that's across the country, right and left, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist.

I was reminded on the morning it happened of the old WWII film London Can Take It, by Humphrey Jennings, showing how ordinary Londoners coped with the Blitz. The same thing is relevant now. Hitler couldn't break England, and a bunch of ignorant little brainwashed virgins aren't going to either.

72 virgins in paradise my arse. What would these little fools know what to do with a woman anyway (assuming their dicks hadn't been blown off in the suicide explosion)?

Sick thing about this is guess what? all these years later and the great UK has given the monster who lead the group stay in the UK and has been here some years now. Russia obviously not happy and wouldn't trade over a Russian guy who assasianted someone on UK soil couple years back from nuclear poisoning. But yeah these terrorists, couple living FREE in the UK on our system of benefits along-with the hook handed guy who hates all westerners!!! if you want an easy ride and are foreign come to the UK, but they dont treat the natives the same. This why Wikileaks man came here, they cant get his ass out to Sweden with the human rights laws for sex crimes or allegedly so.

There will be even more tragedies before this revolution is done. With democracy pouring across the Middle East we will see many deaths but these will not be in vain! Freedom does come at a price and when the people rise up against their ruler, they are also going against the leaders forces, this will show civil wars throughout the world, but again Democracy comes at a price. If the United States stays out of this change we will see a much faster change in the Middle East. Tunisia, Egypt all in days with little death! Iraq, 10 years with US Involvement, what is the price of the Iraq Democracy? Now with Libya in the wings of change we see the US trying to weasel their way in again! Do you think if Libya's major export was bacon would the US give a shit about their Democracy? Of course not. Let us stand by and let change happen for the people by the people. It is also important for the US to establish very strong ties with these new Democratic states, our support is vital as they go into transition but it should also be understood that their are a lot of Muslim countries and united they could pretty much be as strong as Germany was in the WW2. Change comes like a landslide and change will be fast, we need to support, not intervene.

Wikileaks needs to be respected for their bravery and the scum they have exposed, good! We can see what one man can do and we need to admire this as it represents true accountability. The question is do we want tis much transparency? Again with change comes great sacrifice, true transparency would cripple so much of an already broken system. The change that will follow is obvious true transparency would come at a cost and in the end, it really will be worth it and it would function but it will look very different than what we see today.

2011 will be a memorable year.

Thing is that the North African revolution as I call it, which is going on with Tunisia, Egypt and Libya along with some extent was it Bahrain? has nothing to do with the West and they should keep their fucking noses out of it period!! All this bullshit of wanting no fly zones is DISGRACEFUL and I'm so happy the US has smacked that on the head. It was thought about by the UK puppet PM Cameron who has no idea how the world should be looked after.

What you see on the news as-well isn't the full story. Much is propaganda by the news stations to make and brainwash society into believing what they want you to see. Gadaffi sure is ruthless but he has many many people in Libya who love him and he has kept that country stable for years. Its never been a hotbed like Yemen for example. Saddam did the same in Iraq, he kept things in order albeit he was cruel to his own people but so too are our own leaders to us!

I was thinking myself that the West had its ears raised because of the H U G E oil reserves in Libya ... wow it has oil with a capital ''O''. Perhaps the US government sees it being too obvious with no fly zones that the world see it than as sniffing the oil. I think that and that they want to screw Gadaffi over and will do at some stage i.e. a knife in the back somehow. Shame, it seems the US wants to rule the world when it never can and never will ... big toys aren't the answer as Afghanistan proves but determination and TACTICS using terrain to the advantage are.

Allow these countries to sort themselves out and offer aid when needed, that would be my strategy. Much more evil people in the world than Gadafi and ask yourselves this ... why didn't Cameron say all this crap or indeed an American or UK government when Mugabe was slaughtering his people in Zimbabwe? they said literally fuck all!!! He was sending soldiers in and cutting off peoples arms, legs and heads. It was whites mostly and yet in the past Iraq was condemned for doing similar to the Kurdish minority! invested interests of course.

Iran is another example, but H.Clinton opens her rat trap often about it and needs to close it :) The US would get royally fucked if they dared to enter Iran or even North Korea. They choose weaker countries based on the current regime if you notice and if they have interests in concluding the campaign .... usually oil. How SICK the world has come to.

You know something, most of the people in the middle east just want to live a normal existence and have no problems with the west. The hot bed of terrorist is imho everywhere. Terrorists are home-grown now as the UK knows all to well with the 7/7 bombing. Just be vigilant. Evil as I have said is everywhere. No one race, faith or creed is worse than the other. The West has ALLOT to be accountable for and I'm Western born and bread. I admit that we have done terrible things in the past and I'm ashamed of it all. Now its coming back to hit us and has caused much unrest.

Regarding Wikileaks. Perhaps you don't know the story behind Assange? the leader of the Wikileaks. He is wanted in Sweden for sexual accusations and the UK cant kick his ass out because he hides behind human rights and big cat money men. He is still in the UK and says he wont get fair trial, yet in Sweden sexual cases are done behind closed doors unlike UK which is open court. He is afraid apparently that he will be sent to the US from Sweden, but the UK has a better treaty for that than Sweden.

My anger stems from the fact if this was a normal citizen they would have boarded a flight by now and gone but because its him he stays. He has unveiled some corruption, but big fucking deal it changes NOTHING .. the world is going to be corrupt the US is one of the most corrupt nations on earth. Your government is the pinnacle of evil in this world imo. Obama though does seem to be a more blessed soul I must admit. The guy who leaked all that military intelligence though is no hero and is a traitor to your nation DLD ... the lives he may have risked doing what he did is just unthinkable and all for the right of knowledge! don't be sili, we the public dont have to know everything and is why we have TOP SECRET and CLASSIFIED.

Lastly food for though ... if Gaddafi goes than who takes control? is this new person in a pocket of someone like the Afghan leader? and when WHEN will the US put Israel to account on how it treats Palestinians and abuses its military powers? it wont because most of the US senate is Jewish and they have a chip on their shoulder to this day about the holacost. Get over it, Britain was bombed to the ground in the 1940's by the Germans but we are back and one of the most cosmopolitan nations on earth.

The root of all evil here, once again, as it has been numerous times throughout human history, is religion. The extremes of most any religion (maybe discounting Hinduism, which seems to be lacking in any extreme elements), whether it be Christianity, Islam, or whetever, has been the source of too much bloodshed over the centuries. It blows my mind how seemingly rational and thinking people can be so easily blindfolded and led astray by man made rhethoric, up to the point where their religion overriders their self preservation instincts. It makes me sick at times. Burn down all the mosks, churches and temples, I say! We need a global mind reprogramming of some sort to root out organized religion.

I believe hindus are the 3rd most violent after Christians (1) and Muslims (2) historically (by the known body counts). However.... much of that killing could be blamed on the christians: It was christian nations that hacked up israel and palestine and caused that mess.... it was christian nations that hacked up india and pakistan and then had the dominant populations (muslims and hindus) switch places... so many of the body counts given directly to hindus and muslims for murdering each other certainly should count indirectly on the christian body count...
Ultimately, in my opinion, it is "all religions" IF you define religions as some philosophy that requires a god or gods, most definitions do. So I would say the theist faiths are the dangerous ones and it is because of what I call the "My god is better than your god" complex.

As they say ''Religion causes wars'' just look at the trouble in Afghanistan when that nutter in the US burned a Quaran ... the Afghans are executing folk in the name of 'Islam' for being infidels! That isn't religion and its tossers like that which put people off taking faith up.

Regarding the Christians, yeah they did invade most places and force that religion onto folk but we're going back long-ago into history when the British had a massive empire and Spain had South America. To this day though they haven't all done bad from it with Christianity being 'rammed' down the throat. Its not all down to religion but the type of people or person you are as well.

Take it all so serious and have no tolerance or respect is the key word here for other faiths than forget it. Christianity back in the pirate days when it came to the shores was archaic, when people were simple minded more than today. We know more now and should be wise. Respect all faiths and have done with it. I have nothing against Israel or Jewish people but allot of trouble has come from that side as well.

In the end it will always be war and trouble with religion. Always has and always will be. Non-Christian countries where they have tribal religions still chop each other in half like in the jungles of the Amazon or Fiji. Your seen as different if your not the same faith in these archaic thinking parts of the world and alas difference often means something much more sinister than in the more civilised world ... its fatality and we see it in these warped pigs who brand a non-believer as an Infidel but Catholics burned many innocent women as witches 100's of yarns back in Spain, France and the UK so infidel branding back than .... key difference i see is Christianity as a whole is coming out of the dark ages and being modernised such as same sex weddings and acceptance of women priests, even gay bishops ... not the same in Islam or your other faiths!

So in conclusion although Christianity has been fucking barbaric to say the least (Think Crusades) they got most of it out the system many centuries ago and now moving forwards but we see other faiths backward in their ideology of the world and so shit keeps being spurted out.

Terrorism and religion are of the same school of thought, both need to institutionalize people from early age to make them blind and obedient against even common logic thinking.
