Hi Guys,

I want to touch ask you a question that I think it's going to start a big controversy around here: "Are we growing an overdependency on PE devices, especially pumps due to our own lazyness???" I spent a good 10h on this weekend reading some of the oldest posts and writings I found on PE dating from the very late 90s on the old PE forums(I found some snippets posted on other forums) and in the early 2000s on other forum and mos and it seems that guys were reporting faster and larger gains back then when there were no devices around, I think penis air pumps existed since the early 80s but they were used by very few and the Bib hanger was launched somewere in 2001-2002 but there are many reports of gains of 2-3 inches in length and 1.5-2 in girth in 2-3 years period with just manual exercises.

Look back in the day and you'll see BIG gainers did a lot of manual work, bib did like 45min-60mins jelqing/day, Ulistrech did 1h of jelquing and squizes per day, DLD mentioned that at one point all he was doing was 600 jelqs sesions twice/day, YGuy gained 2.5inches in a bit over 16months with multiple streching and jelqing sessions/day before he started to hang weights. Theese guys were working their asses off and their gains stand as proof.

Now days we rather put on a bathmate and crank it up to the high pressure for 10mins while watching our favorite latina ass action on pornhub rather then spending a solid 30mins on an all manual girth routine(you may get the same expansion but witch one do you think will cause more tissue breakdown?), and the same goes for length... penis extenders seem to be the only bet for a lot of guys who seek length. I see so many posts by guys saying that all equipment thay have is a bathmate or SG and ask for a good routine to get length with it when they have not done not even one day on the newbie routine.

I don't try to discredit PE devices or say that they are bad as I own all of them: LM, PA, Extender, 2 Pumps(3rd one ordered earlier today-x40), Hanger but I use them as an extension to my very intense manual work rather as the main powertrain of my routine. IMO this does not apply to the LM and PA as theese are tools to augment your manual work, just like dips or pull-up bars are for caliestenics.

So guys, use the Extenders and pumps, but don't try to shortcut your way into success by betting all your money on them because of your own lazyness, I know that it's hard and boring as hell to go trough 30-45mins of manual streching and get messy with lube for you your jelqing session or to get out every 5mins out of the bathmate to do your intense SSJs for SETS but put in the work and you'll thank me for it in a few months.

Good post, very well written
Personally, I think you need to do manual exercises AND tools to get the fastest results.

combining them both is more decent, i have no devices all i use are my hands sometimes it gets stressful and boring, but i manage to control it ihave been thinking about the size genetics and some other devices i have no money for now Using hands only can give us certain honour and pride at least for me like look what i have achieved using the hands only!! obviously some devices like the bathmate and things like that can really help you to progress quickly i have no doubt:cool:

Well, because I live in a 3rd world country, and some devices don't ship to here (sizegenetics), I have no excuses to do manual . I'll order a LM soon, but because our money is worth less than a half of the dollar, I'll have to wait a little.

Ps.: the bathmate X30 in here cost $500. fuuuuuuuuuu...

I've always been about the tools. first started using an extender. then a BM. the only manual exercise i really ever did was the rotary stretches and A stretches. Now i love manual work using the LM.

your opinion on someone wanting to use tools over hands is because of their own laziness but i consider it to be a persons tendency to achieve results more efficiently using less energy. But as long as someone gets gains for themselves...who cares how they do it, right?

Great thread. I think this is the success of the SRT routine DLD created as it incorporates manual exercise along with devices to help speed up gains. Lets face it, we the people are getting lazier & busier every generation and if a miracle pill comes out that will give us what we want then everyone will use it. So if you can strap on an ADS or ANS and get a stretch in all day while at work or home watching the game, best believe most people will take that option over an hour or two of manual stretching with tiring hands.

What I like about using an extender or hanger is it allows me to multi task. I can put my extender on and it will strech my penis good and hard for an hour straight while I am doing something else. I still do manuals after I take a device off and after taking a piss. It just feels so good. :)

I don't think it is laziness or a lack of desire to put in the work when men use tools, I think it is more they have just caught on over the past 8 years. Back in the early days we really did not have too many options with equipment and the ones that were available were not readily accepted for various reasons. The JES Extender was available but it started at $600 and the price was way too high for most to use. There was no such thing as the BathMate so this was no an option. There were air pumps but these causes too many issues and in most cases were not used properly. So, yes, years ago we still made gains without equipment, mainly because the equipment was not available or was too expensive. As time went on, for me, the first piece of equipment I used was the PowerAssist but this (just like the LengthMaster) was a tool of assistance to PE by giving men the ability to stretch with more intensity and control. Right around this time we were finally able to make our first deal with an extender company that made the Extender affordable to most men and it started to catch on. Eventually this became the deal we have with SizeGenetics and by this time it was easy to see many men were making great gains using the Extender. Not too long after this the first BathMates came out and they were met with many guys who saw the potential of water pumping. The biggest issue we had with the BathMate was men who were over pumping and stopped doing manual work at all. At this point I decided to try the BathMate and see what the rave was all about. I, just like other, found amazing temporary gains with the BathMate and saw the potential that the pump could bring. I decided that I wanted to create workouts that encouraged men to use tools alongside exercise as being the fastest method to gaining and the beginnings of SRT appeared. SRT became the ultimate routine for those who wanted to use tools and exercise in the smartest way. I knew that the combination would take the best of both worlds and allow men to use equipment while not ignoring exercise. Today I believe the fastest way to gaining, as proven by SRT, is this combination. The reasons I have for each piece of equipment are sound and easily seen to be productive.

The LengthMaster: When grip is an issue, as it is for many men, the LM solves this issue. Fulcrum stretching is proven to be one of the smartest ways to stretch and the LM gives many ways to do this. Expressive stretching is an important variable to gaining length and there are many ways to accomplish this with the LM. Being able to stretch with two hands definitely is better than stretching with one so that is a no brainer.

The SizeGenetics: This device is a God send to those who just don't have the time to put in and will bring gains with little effort on the part of the user. It is also the smartest addition to a manual routine as you can get in much more time stretching after the main routine is done. It also is a great tool to healing in an extended state, a principal of SRT.

The BathMate: With an instant expansion after the first session it is easy to see that this tool has much value in girth work since that is what we depend on. When used with manual exercises like jelqing or SlowSquashJelqing the expansion is even greater and for men who struggle with girth gains this is a huge benefit.

These are the three main tools that are used here and they all serve a greater purpose in a manual routine when used the right way. I don't think this is giving room to laziness but more, a smarter way to gain and heal at the fastest rate. The point is, tools are now readily available and men are going to use them so I think it is important for us to learn to use them in the best way and stay with the latest trends in PE. There are many tools out there that will never make it to MOS but the few that have have proven themselves as being valuable in many ways.

I got the feeling that this still happens with many users right here on MOS after reading some posts in the Forums in the last couple of weeks and the exact reason why I wrote this post.

I agree 100% with your point, if used propperly within a good routine devices can be of great benefit as I know from using all of them for the past 2 years but there seems to be a tendancy now days to drop all manual work and use just a device with an absolute bare minumum time in hope that it will bring amaizing and fast results.

The thing is Blue, times change and new stuff becomes available in PE. It would be irresponsible for us to ignore advancements in our field, especially if they work. We have reviewed 100's of pieces of equipment but only a few survive. I think the equipment we use here is proven and definitely a good part of any manual routine. I have seen some men gain solely with tools but I am of the school that believes the combination is best.

P.E. devices is not about over dependency, it's about more efficiency in a scientific approach. You can't have muscles all over your body by just push ups, crunches or pull ups or just dumbbells. You need more advanced machines.

Exercise with p.e. devices is more advanced.

Besides with p.e. devices we have better chances. These devices are all based on the roots of hand exercise.

Stretching by using rocks and rope has been practised 1000 of years ago. You see the vedio you might be scared of not do so.

But now when you see bib hanger, it's research and its vedio and experience on forums we get more confident on P.E.

Besides all p.e devices also gives material of hand exercise and say we also need to do that. We gat lazy and do no hand exercise and just use p.e. devices

There is also the fun factor we need to look at, tools make the whole process more interesting and fun. I also think some men feel as though the investment keeps them motivated, being invested in yourself has a lot of merit.

Agreed when I open my closet and see all lots of clothes of all brands it keeps me motivated to look smart and well groomed all day. If I only see 3 pair of jeans and few shirts I am not motivated.

Same when I open my closet to see my p.e. devices. I see x4, phallosan , LM , bib hanger, lg hanger, pills, clamping, bath mate and more my log book. All neatly kept in an organised manner I feel motivated. Besides my hand is 24 hours with me to do hand exercise.

im currently all manual but i must say id love to have pe tools who wouldnt but you should use manual aswell i think of tools as a helping hand i beleive youve gotta do manauls mixed with tools to get quickest results

The bathmate is the first device i've used in my 6 years of pulling on my dick, so I'd say no, we're not becoming overly dependent on them. I'm sure the vast majority of men who do PE only use their hands

It's no different than being dependent on your Smartphone..."It's all relative"
Devices are created to make human task more efficient; image trying to humanly duplicate the device of an Extender or a Bathmate

I yet to find an efficient device to do the manual task of jelqing like a pair of hands can do.

I have thought long and hard on this and have never thought of anything that could stand in the place of the hands in this task. I had some hope when I saw those milking machines but upon closer research I found that they did not give the type of intensity necessary. But, staying with the spirit of this thread, there will always be exercises in PE that can only be done with the hands.

Manual work will always be more powerful and effective because you're exerting more energy from the inside. Also it's a full-body workout. I use my legs, arms, ass, and abs for all my workouts.

But tools like SG is appropriate for extended healing, since we can't walk around bent over with one hand in our pants LOL!

But you can also do manual work within PE devices too, like BM Hardcore Stretches for instance. But solely letting devices do the work is kind of like just doing weightlifting without getting your core muscles corrected and strengthened first.

I feel that before going into PE tools one should condition the penosaur with manual work.
