Much like the chicken and the egg debate....i see both sides answered to this question; Do you jelq then stretch or stretch then jelq?

I see DLD's beginner routine has stretching then jelqing.........so that would lead me to believe that would be the answer!! considering he is yoda

Well, in the newbie routine it's more of a different time routine (you train length/girth in the am and then length/girth in the pm), but if it's a "which should come first" question- I'd say stretching 1st and then jelqing. If you jelq and get that nice girth expansion- if you stretch after that immediately- you might lose the expansion. So my advice is to go for stretching 1st and then jelqing so that the stretching does not ruin the girth expansion you have worked for (and we all know that the more time the expansion lasts- the better -SRT, man). That's just my vote, I might be wrong, though :)

i like it. i'm not sure either way, i just wanna do what's best for progress

If you like and it's best for your progress- then that's the BOMB grape! :)

Typically, you will want to do stretching before jelqs, because if you do jelqs first, you won't get as good of a stretch when doing your manual stretches afterwards. However, on week 2 of DLD's SRT routine, you do girth work before your length work. So it has its place. DLD explains why in the thread. So I'd say if you wanted to do it one week every couple of months or something, that would be alright. Other than that, stick with stretches first.
