Hey guys, question for SG users. When I was using the SG I was using it for about 5-7 hours per day, spliting sessions into 45mins - 1 hour sessions. When I used the extender I would always stretch as hard and as far as I could (after warming up). I would never be able to go past one hour due to discomfort and circulation. But I noticed that some people say they wear it for 2 hours straight with ZERO discomfort and only take it off for bathroom breaks.

Has anyone done any research into this sort of thing? I mean between the two approaches. The only way I can see you could possibly stay in the SG for more than 45 mins with Zero discomfort is having very low tension. I've always liked the opposite approach of forcing the penis to grow and had some good results.

I know the general consensus is wear it as long as possible but do experience extender users think 2 hours per set- at low-mid tension is better than 45 mins Intnese session?

Although I haven't used SG in a while, I will be soon and was looking for peoples opinions :)

Also, what does turtling mean!? I always thought it meant when you flaccid is in a squashed position? Some people talk about EQ?

My SG procedure below. I only do two hours per weeknight, but on the weekends I regularly do sets of 3-4 hour sessions. This is at full tension.

The most important thing is the wrap and attachment. I use a baby powdered silicone based tape, stretch & seal, magic tape or whatever they call it nowadays. It's available everywhere. I use approx 3 feet of it and wrap about a half-inch behind the glans rim. I wrap while erect and then cinch the velcro while penis is between 50-75% hardness.

I use velcro one-wrap. Perfect stuff. One 11" length of it lasts forever. Loop it through and it sticks to itself.

1) Insert through SG while flaccid.

2) Attain erection.

3) Loosely wrap/attach whatever strap/noose/velcro while erect. Like maybe 25% of the tightness you would normally strap. I just have it attached where I want but not hooked up to bars yet.

4) I then wait for erection to subside perhaps to 50%. Cinch the strap to normal tightness.

5) Hook up the bars etc. I prefer to screw the bars together with everything in place. I'm not very stretchy and it's just easier for me to do that rather than the way it is designed to go together.

I find that tightening the strap in two stages, first only snug while erect and then cinching down a few minutes later as I lose erection makes it more solid and comfortable.

Comfort notes:

Lubrication at the base if there is too much chafing.

Become adept at changing rods while in situ. This involves being nimble with unscrewing whilst holding apparatus such that opposite rod doesn't bend or put stress on any parts.

Experiment with direction. For me, straight down is where discomfort creeps in. Straight up is often comfortable.

Consider cycling your erect state during your session. Nowadays I am almost exclusively stretching while erect. This involves hooking up with my above procedure, and then attaining erection once at adequate tension. I do relax at intervals and allow it to go flaccid while maintaining the tension.

I tend to stop shortly after when I cannot feel a tickle on the top of the glans. Usually the head is good indefinitely if I am sitting and attentive. If I have to walk around with pants & stuff then I'd have to go to spring tension to avoid getting numb.

Anyways, I play it pretty safe. Don't try to do it all at once LOL. This is a gradual process and consistency is key.

Excellent tutorial here! Thanks for posting, it helps so many men who are struggling. I like your approach to experimentation, this is key when using the SizeGenetics as there are many user adjustments that can be made. It was through experimentation and user-influence that we came to market with the VLC, the Velcro Strap and much of the 16 way system put forth by SizeGenetics.

I should also mention a few other SG things..

If it squeaks while adjusting the screws, a little oil or wd-40 on the threads can prevent wear.

It is helpful to have extra segments. The autoextender site has some cheaper parts. The segments they make are not exactly the same (don't have the flat spots for the wrench), but I am making good use of them. Be sure to get the correct size for your extender.

That is a good point. I think we should start a thread about compatibilities between the different extenders on the market. This would be a wonderful resource for finding less expensive upgrades and such.
