Hello. I started pe (mainly jelq) in Oct '15 with a few 2 week breaks in between out of fear I hurt myself.

Anyway, I can't seem to get rid of this dull ache right at the base where I start the jelq. I dont even grip that hard out of fear of causing damage. It isn't painful and doesn't bother me all day, only when I start thinking about it. It's not painful and sometimes I even think it feels good when I start getting erect. I've been waking up in the middle of the night with good erections (which I don't recall ever happening before) so that's a good sign. I worked my way up slowly to a total of 300 jelqs bit after the 2 week breaks I always started out slowly (100 jelqs) and worked my way up gradually.

I guess what I'm wondering is why this wouldn't go away, and of course it's always disconcerting when you feel something out of the ordinary down there. I was visiting pegym almost daily but since it has been down for over a week I stumbled onto this place. Maybe it was fate 😊. All the threads over there say stop immediately if you are sore for more than 24 hours. Since reading tons of threads on this board, the take on that seems to be to push through since soreness is normal and serious injury is rare. I'm confused about why they say this over on pegym and the opinion here is so different?

Of course I'm looking for reassurance to keep going since I enjoy doing this and have definitely noticed an increase in thickness hahh.

You are most likely feeling sore ligaments. If you stretch your penis when flaccid, do you feel this ache as well?

Well, I was avoiding any stretching because I was thinking that may have been what caused the discomfort. It did seem to be a little worse when I did a very very light stretch. The next day the ache was a little more noticeable. At this point I've decided to stop any stretching as I'm more concerned with girth. To clarify a little more, the ache is most noticeable on the right side, sort of on the underside, right where my scrotum and shaft meet. It's more internal than external and doesn't really hurt if I push on it.

I don't really notice it when ejaculating. If i do it doesn't really stand out to me.

Longest time brother. Are you still in the game?
