I dont think youre squeezing the excess blood from your glans/front of your penis before tightening your hanger down. Looks like from the pic here that you have too much blood in your glans when youre using this setup. My glans never looks like yours when hanging. It's always soft and never engorged. That has to be uncomfortable.

It seems with that amount of blood in the head...numbness would be reached quite a bit faster than most....I usually don't experience numbness or if I do it isn't much and if any occurs it is because of the amount of blood it seems....considering I have never hanged more than 15 lbs yet take that for what it's worth, but I do agree with still...Gomer you got to squeeze that blood out of the head....

Gomer,

Kind of hard to tell just from that pic what you are doing. I thought, when you got your hanger put back together, you were going to take a series of pics showing exactly what you are doing? Then, we could break it all down and get it right. Seems like you are jumping the guy with the wrapping and hanger adjutments.

I thought I got the blood out of the head but you guys are right, it is hard in that pic. Bib, I don't really know where to begin when taking pics and showing them to you. I'm not sure exactly what would be helpful and what wouldn't be. Here's what I think might help you to help me:Take pics of the hanger settings/adjustments first, wrap and take pics of that, place my penis in the hanger and take a pic of that, tighten it and take a pic, then take a series of pics as more and more weight is applied until it seats on or near the head again. Do you think that this series of pics would help or would you like for me to do something different? Also, how much weight should I try to use to get the hanger settings correct? Because I assume that if the settings are correct with 20+ pounds, they would also be okay with less than that. After I get it set correctly I plan on using 10-15 pounds anyway for a week or two at least before trying to move up.

I've personally found that if I can pull forward on the hanger with just my hands, and the hanger is tight enough it will not pull forward any farther than it should. In other words, it will anchor itself where it should be and not move forward any farther than it should...I can pull forward as hard as I can with my hands, and the hanger will not budge. That is when I know it is tight enough. No matter the resistance applied. Once you have your hanger 'dialed in', no matter how hard you pull with your hands, it should not budge. Just my personal feedback from my own experience.

I'm not trying to knock you personally, or this whole 'hardcore hanging' idea, but you really need to take a step or few back, and spend more time getting your hanger dialed in, and your wrapping down. As well as focusing more on being totally flaccid, to include having the least amount of blood in your glans as possible by squeezing out the excess before tightening down your hanger. Learn these basics before proceeding further. That will help you out a lot. If you insist on proceeding with the hardcore hanging...in other words, using more weight than your penis is ready for, you will most likely continue to see the bruising and other issues your are seeing now...epecially if you do so before your hanger settings are dialed in.

Once you have your hanger settings, and wrap, blood, etc, all figured out, things will be much easier on you.

I agree with Still, for someone new to hanging, it is really not wise to try and set your hanger using 20 lbs. Try a max of 8-10 lbs first. You should be able to get some fatigue going by using this weight.

Thanks guys. I must really need to tighten this thing down then because at first it grips the inner structures AND the skin really well until about 8 pounds is applied. Then it continues to grip the skin really well but it will let go of the internal structures after about 15 pounds on average, anchoring itself to the head. Even though I've been messing with this thing since November of 2004 I need to pretend like I just got it and start from scratch, just as the hanger came in the box with the nuts adjusted all the way in and all. Then I'll read Bib's product guide and do everything said, step by step.

So, Bib, I'll start all over just as I would if using the hanger for the first time and try to get it right based on your site's instructions. If I can't get it right after that then I'll ask for help but I don't want to ask any more until then. I have the weekend off so I'm going to make a day or two out of it and hopefully I'll get it dialed in like it should be, then I'll hang with 10 pounds or less until I'm comfortable with it. When I can't figure something out, it is normally because of something simple so I'll be patient and persistent with it. Thanks for the advice guys,
Gomer

Okay I think I found a problem. I'm not sure how much bigger the regular Bib Hanger is but it might help if it is taller than the Starter. In these pics instead of being in an "O" shape, my penis is squeezed hard which forms something like this "()" instead which is an obvious occurance with side pressure on the shaft. I think this is probably normal except for the fact that the more it tightens/squeezes, the more skin that gets the shit pinched out of it on the top and bottom of the hanger. Would the regular model be tall enough to where it wouldn't pinch the skin on the top and bottom? Or maybe I'm not wrapping tight enough to keep the skin in the center where it should be. What do you guys think?

Now this is a trick that works for me with the captains wench, and may help with the bib too.

Squeeze the blood out of the head and put the hanger on, but don't tighten all the way yet. Then while still holding the blood out the head, pull the hanger forward like it would be when hanging something, and then tighten it down fully. This helps you tighten blood out of the head.

Cool, thanks. I'll try that tomorrow night and see how it works. I was able to do a 20 minute set tonight of about 13 pounds and the head stayed soft and I could feel it the whole time so I think I'm making a little progress. However, I did tighten it as much as I could with my fingers and then I used a pair of pliers(sp?) to tighten it a little more. It still slid a little bit but didn't anchor on the head this time.

No. The hanger is a lateral compression device, not circular. It is supposed to put the pressure on the top sides of the two major chambers. I am 6.5 inches in upper shaft erect girth, and can fit in the Starter without pinching.

This is a physics problem, with the relevant variables being your wrapped flaccid girth, and the hanger settings. Also, you want your wrap to be tight enough so that it contains all of the skin snugly, and the wrap and the skin does not get caught in the teeth. It should be a solid wrapped bundle.

I think the following is the best course of action for the pinching thing. Wrap with about 15-18 inches of wrap. Then, try different spacings of your passes when you wrap. First try about one eight inch passes as you spiral down. Then, move to one quarter inch passes. Then, three eigths, etc. The tighter the passes on the spirals, the larger your wrapped flaccid girth will be.

Then, try many different levels of tightness of the wrap. Try to always be loose enough to pee, but tight enough so that the wrap contains the skin.

For the time being, limit your sets to a few minutes. Just do the experimentation until you find the physical settings that are comfortable. When you find the correct tightness, and configuration of the wrap, take a permanent marker, and draw a line down the center of the top of the wrap. This will allow you to recreate the correct tightness. Then, also mark the edge of each pass of the wrap. This will allow you to recreate the correct wrapped flaccid girth.

Now, at the same time you are trying to get your wrap correct, make sure that the top gap is smaller than the bottom gap.

As far as pics go, a pic at each step would be great.

>However, I did tighten it as much as I could with my fingers and then I used a pair of pliers(sp?) to tighten it a little more. It still slid a little bit but didn't anchor on the head this time.<

That is really bad. If you have to use pliers to tighten the hanger, you probably have wrap caught in the teeth. Using pliers is bad, because the hard plastic may break. Better to wrap a bit tighter, and keep the wrap out of the teeth.

Thanks for all the help guys but I think I'm going to try something different. Back when I was manual stretching, my hands started hurting so that I could not get good grips/stretches when stretching. That is when I ordered my Bib Starter and started using it. I found an old thread I started and several people suggested that I use the hanger as my grip when stretching, then just push or pull on the device in whatever direction I need to without getting fatigue in my hands and fingers. I know my settings aren't dialed in correctly for prolonged useage but I think that if I stretch using it as a gripping device I could get maximum stretch for 1 minute sets pretty easily. I know it probably won't be 20 pounds but I think it'll work as long as I take the hanger off and rest after every 10 minutes or so each time. I've got it set now to where the hanger won't anchor to the head until I apply about 20 pounds of resistance for a couple minutes so I think the hanger will grip fine for manual stretching. Hopefully this will work out for me because I really need a big dick. I used to think it was a want but it is a need. Maybe I'll even be able to use it along with the Power Assist if the hanger will fit through the hole.
