Im so tired of being tired all day. I dont know what it is thats doing this but i find my self tired most of the time... Are there any natural vitamins or pills out there that wilkl give me more energy or feel more awake?

If you are feeling tired all day you might have a deficiency of some sort...maybe you should talk to a doctor to get some medical advice.

Some things that will help aid in energy production (they don't produce energy, fat and carbohydrates produce energy).

B vitamins
Acai fruit is supposed to work wonders
Goji juice
Antioxidants can make you feel better

If you want more "energy" you should focus on your diet. What and when are you eating?

Well its not like im always feeling down, its just after a work out, or maybe if im just sitting down and doing nothing for a while... but I just got some B vitamins and they seemd to work a little bit. But ill try that other stuff to...are they pills?

see a doctor and get blood test. i take a couple of caffeine pills in the morning on empty stomach then later on i workout they'll do the job u u shouldnt be tired all day.

well its not like im really alll that tired but some times i am... I just want some thing to give me that extra boost and make me feel like im full of adrenaline or energy

Water is critical, and so is plain old good old nutrition. For some quick pretty much natural energy boosting try some sublingual B-12 combined with Chromium Piccolinate.
But remember, "supplememnts" are just that, they can't make up for poor nutrition and/or dehydration.
If you eat any sizable amounts of refined flour or sugar products these are "anti-nutrients" and will actually suck the existing nutrition out of your body as it attempts to digest and eliminate 'em.

One old piece of advice I try hard to follow is this one: "Eat foods that rot...but eat 'em before they do !"

You know, any fresh fruits and veggies, meat, poultry, fish, yogurt, cheese, milk... I think ya get it..
Twinkies don't rot, Snickers don't rot, chips soda; that kinda crap.

Take a raw egg and crack it in a bowl, then take a damn McDonald's hamburger and put it on a plate next to the egg and see which one lasts longer before you GOTTA throw it out.

Stimulant X

It's not natural

It's a stimulant

but lemme tell ya.. shit is AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Not only for physical but mental energy is SWEEEEEET

Hey man. Before you go ADDING to your diet, maybe you should be looking at problems that already exist.

Alergy?: You may have a gluten alergy. Pull your eye lid down and make sure that the inner lid is very red. It should be very red, if not you may be lacking Iron. Gluten alergies often go hand in hand with lack of iron.

The Bad: So first off, try to ensure that any bread, rice, or pasta is of the brown variety. Then try and replace it with fruit or veg or meat. Also try and cut back on sugar, dont drink "sports" drinks. No top athlete I know or train uses them. You maybe be spiking your blood sugar and then having down time with no energy.

Fruit: If you are eating well 10 peices of fruit is ok, butif you want to really boost your energy try eating more greens. Like a bag of fresh salad leaf. Randy Couture is the former UFC heavy weight champion, then former light heavy weight champ and now heavy weight again... he's 43 now I think. He swears by consumption of "greens" and where possible, "living" greens. Wheat grass is an easily accesable source.

Sleep: Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep. Lots of people on here talk about Growth Hormone. Well many top athletes insist on a nap in the middle of the day to stimulate production of GH. Myself included. If you are in a possition to nap in the middle of the day you should.
More on sleep.

Water: Yes, Drink lots of water. Also, the more water you drink, the less you retain so it will help guys loose some "fat pad".

Exercise: Exercise should leave you energised not exhausted. If your not already doing crossfit.com, do it now! haha

Hope that helps man.

Peace

wow thanks allot for that reply, Yeah im pretty much eat what ever I want and most of that stuff is fast food sometimes, but im not fat ive got 10 percent body fat? But Im just going to eat better and exercise more.

Big Randy fan here. I've never been able to find specific details of his diet. Do you have any links? I don't see what greens are going to do to give you energy. I can understand cutting weight, but don't understand how they'll provide energy.

The Cross Fit site looks pretty cool, but I still don't get what all they do.

Randy is the man!!!

Well his diet is based on eating "live" foods as much as possible. Greens are the most accessable way to get these.

Randy also (apparently) takes a suplement called "life force- green energy". Which, when added to water is a source of live food.

Anyway, the cornerstone of his diet is that it puts a negaitve acid load on his kidneys - in short his diet is alkaline.

Thats another reason I love the paleo diet, its is an aklaline diet too. This allows your body to function in a more efficeint manner.

Importantly, greens contain fibre. When you increase the amount of fibre you eat you strip out alot of "shit" from your intestines etc. In doing so, not only does this allow your body to digest food better, loose the wieght of this "shit" it also stops the undigestable crap in your intestines from toxifying your body.

Peace

I have this same damn problem I played basketball and boxed and worked out all the time and I had to quit workin out for 2 months because I hurt my wrist and now I always feel tired as shit so I recently went to the doctor gotta go back the 29th to see all the results they called and said there are no problems so im about to take some pills

Have any of you tried injectable B-12.........easy to do, and cheap......and you get the full impact of the vitamin.

I say this, it might not be perfect for u but this is what works for me. Stay away from suplements. Eat 6 meals a day 1 every 2 hour. Each meal should be clean protein and fiberous carbs. The carbs will help your energy. Do a light work out every day and pic your focus, strength or looks. and get 8 hours of sleep in the day. Then find stuff that makes u happy in your day to go and do. u have to have soemthing to look forward too if your going to want to do anything but sleep. My guess is if your diet doesnt fix it that ur depressed and u need something in your life to make u feel happy. Well good luck man hope u find your solution

Caffeine Pills do wonders for me. I usually pop a 200mg pill before a workout and if i am really exhausted in the day. Gets me right up and going.

caffeine pills are horrible on your body, it might work for some but not for all and i would not recomend them to anyone. If u have good luck with them then go for it. For me the natural ways work best and i am never left feeling run down or spent. Also caffeine has bad effects on blood flow in the body so if u are already batteling for a larger dick or to keep it up caffeine will just make it worse for u.
