Answer to @MosMaster regarding: Mike Mentzer's training method.

@MosMaster can you tell me more about what types of food you are eating to stay that lean? No hurry, I'm just somewhat interested. I'm currently eating a lot of pork and vegetables, maybe eating to many potatoes. An air-fryer to prepare the meat would be great.

Bread I have removed. I just eat a little bit sometimes. But when I eat it I feel fat.
Pork is usually fatty depending on what type of pork product. Check the nutritional value on it.

I eat mostly lean beef, white fish, chicken and quark (kvarg på svenska) for protein.

For carbs: Rice, potatoes (very good for dieting btw as it is filling with not too many calories actuall) and some pasta

And then add in a lot of veggies. Usually broccoli, peas, spinach and sauerkraut. Also eat a lot of blueberries usually with my quark. I always eat 1-2 lemons everyday

@MosMaster, how much do you pull in deadlift in 1RM without a weightlifting belt?

Just curious to know and to compare to, since I have lost some abilities in this exercise. But I believe normal (for most men) is just under 200 kilogram?
I'm not very strong at deads, to be honest and when I go very heavy I'm at risk of having to take days off because of back pain/strain.

So I never do 1 RM’s.

I do 5-6 reps on 150 kg. And I always use “Fat Gripz” (check on Google image) to get insane grip strength. This helps a lot with PE as you know!

This also forces me to not having too much weight at the bar (because of risking my back) and I also don't use a weight belt for the same reason and also to build strength without additional aid.

Thanks for your input.
Seams I have balanced my diet good now. The only problem is that I fast a little to long sometimes. But it works. I don't consume dairy any more (drank 3 L, milk daily before). So my diet is somewhat restrictive. I don't consume pasta or rice either. Pasta is out of the question since it's highly processed food...my stomach can't handle it now.

Sounds like a good approach.

I have thought about those, Fat grip add-ons before. Since I started penis enlargement I have reformed my training, and I have not been using straps (for grips) in a long time. It's more valuable to have a supple and functional body in many things, then to be able to lift extremely heavy weight. A heavy body is not healthy.

LENGTHMASTER 3 stretches is really a workout in it self, so can't overload my muscular system/nervous system as I did before. You can still be strong with this approach.

By the way: How big are your jaw muscles now?

I have seen all his seminars many times. It's golden!
It's wonderful. I can't understand why not everyone are doing this? Bodybuilders take drugs in order to be able to train every day for many hours...that's insanity. They are for sure overtraining. Their program can only be done with anabolic steorids.

Fat gripz are king! You can use them for almost everything. My favourite is deadlifts and chins. Insane grip development.

Straps are trash. Throw them away. They are only making you unevenly strong. With less activation of your arms and forearms.

Your forearms can handle a lot more than you think. They are very durable and fast to recover

I haven't gotten around to that jaw thing. Maybe later. I don't wanna chace too many goals at the same time. Maybe i’ll transition into that when I’m satisfied with PE, we’ll see 😄

I know straps take your strength away. Many young men go for these tools immediately when they start lifting. That's not good. I even see guys using a belt for 60 kg squats. That's just stupid.

Sounds good.

I know this is a true statement from Mike Mentzer. When I had my biggest arms (before PE), I didn't focused on arms or experienced any pump (not BodyBuilding workouts). What I did was "just" lifting heavy things from the ground like:
  • Deadlifts.
  • Rackpull (below the knee).
  • One armed dumbell rows. You stand like a Gorilla 🦍, and only have support for your non working arm. In this way you can lift really heavy weights.
  • Sometimes: Seated rows with a cable machine.
  • Lifting heavy slam-balls.
I did complementary biceps curls, but these was not my main exercise.

I want a report on this in the future 🙂
The benefits with bigger jaw muscles, and if there is some side effects with this.

As Mentzer say, the best bicep exercise is the chin up (palms facing you). And in my experience add on extra weight (if you can, and you should be able to or you are overweight) AND using fat grips. Your arms and forearms will explode

There are a lot of reviews on this on youtube. “Jawliner 2.0 review” and other brands
Okey. I will check that out. Seems like a good idea. You want this, due to the fact that we are eating softer food now (our jaw muscles are under developed), so we need to train our jaw muscles in some other way. It seems amazing the results you can get.

Love this thread with Mike Mentzer. I followed his principles when I trained, found it the best way tbh. Arthur Jones and Vince Gironda had good advice aswell but old Mike was fab.

I've his books and a video, it's all about putting good hard work in the shortest amount of time.

Sorry if I jump in here but glad read this.

I’m glad you chimed in! You planning to get to high-intensity work again? Please share more of your experiences. How long did you do it for and what was your results?

So good to see you buddy!

I did it for around 4 years in the early 00's and became very strong for my build.

My height 5 11 with a muscular 185lbs at the time, but I found my endurance was very good, power excellent.

Compared with high volume work, however, always one of them 😉 it gets stale and during those years I had some rest from hit and in that rest I did various stuff set out by the great Vince gironda, incl neck press which does work at developing a part of the pectoral often neglected but do on smith machine, really is intense.

Also used max and static contractions which again worked excellent at going into my daily workable strength. I needed to lift heavy in my work and still do, the old ways from that period gave me muscle memory now to perform hard physically demanding work that guys half my age genuinely can't keep up with me, especially endurance and I ain't special, just I go like a bull.

Sounds awesome let us know when you’re jumping on the train again!

By neck press you mean high incline presses towards the clavicle?
