I am not completely certain, but I do know that hemp consists of the lower half of the cannibis plant (stalk and roots), and weed comes from the upper half (buds/flowers). You cannot have make hemp without growing the plant that has marijuana on it. Hemp cannot get you high, but the plant it comes from can get you high...and that last comment...only from a stoner. The only thing you are "crushing" is your smoke to put in a bowl :s

I think I've found the solution guys. The government can control and regulate the growing of hemp plants...and since it IS correct that you cannot grow hemp w/out the FEMALE plant which grows the leaves/buds of cannibus (pot) we can have people like aares guarding the crops with mini guns (thing Terminator II)

Hmmm...throw in some grenades and some P229's with a license to kill, and I will be more than glad to guard the plants.

No way current agribusiness and chemical industry lobbys will let some up and comer comer crop recieve massive government subsidation and market share. If we ever started really utalizing a hemp crop it would be a long slow road getting there. As I recall the original ban was backed by the cotton lobby or somebody similar. It was also other growing and manufacturing conglomerates that produced films like "Reefer Madness" and other hyperbolic anti-cannibus propganda in order to make sure it stayed despised by lawmakers and the general public. They saw a threat and dealt with it, pretty handidly too, since it's still illegal and stigmatized.

Ok, you need to get your facts straight.

Hemp and Marijuana are both VARIETIES of Cannibus Sativa. The are not the exact same plant.

Hemp contains very low levels of THC, less than 1 percent, while Marijuana contains around 10-20 percent. The look much different, hemp being very tall and stalky, while marijuana is bushy and short.

Yeah, there are hundreds of different strains of marijuana, hemp was just one that was bred many times to take away the THC levels, and it was also a very HARDY strain that could survive in any climate type.( most all of todays designer strains could not thrive, spread seed and grow on their own without human intervention.)
All hemp and marijuana plants start out being neither male or female, and halfway through the growing process they will turn male or female(it might be 50%/50%). It is possible for a hemp plant to turn female, and grow some buds.(they wouldnt get you high)...but male plants turn female plants male and can do so up to like a half mile radius and since hemp grows in vast quantity around each other, it is impossible to get a single female plant in a hemp feild.

Pot is perfectly legal in Holland, In fact there is less hard drug use in Holland than in any other western country. In addition to pot being legal, prostitution is also legal in Holland. Amen brotha! but the west is bible country, give it another 80 years and people will realize the war on drugs has been going on for 100 years and they still havent made a dent. The west loves to waste money on telling people what to do and restricting what we can do.

Medicianal mariajuana is called marinol, cant remember the mg but if you eat em all day they make you high as akite.One of my vendors used to give me bottles of marinol(and my wife and I would eat em like candy).His uncle had a prescription for them but preferred smoking to the pills(he would trade out for ganja opposed to taking the pill).I like marinol but prefer reefer.I don't use it every day.I feel the reason it is not legal is to keep the prices up
