i have incorporated hanging into my daily routine for 1-2 hours. usually while i'm doing the round on emails and browsing or watching a movie before bed. but i'm starting to read more threads on how hanging can cause a loss of sensitivity...

is this true? i wouldn't be surprised if it is, but what are the facts?

thanks

I hung for just about a year and I never experienced any sensitivity issues. I think the most important precautions in hanging are good wrapping technique (Stillwantmore offers an excellent thread on the subject and it is where I learned my wrapping methods.) and proper rest periods in between sessions. Hanging takes practice and is a very progressive process weight wise. A newbie to the sport should practice his wrapping and weight load with great caution but when learned properly it is a wonderful way to gain length (and even girth)

No it doesn't cause loss of sensitivity as long as you have the correct setup,if you have the setup wrong and the head is taking the weight then yes it could lead to problems.

penguinsfan my base girth has gone through the roof from hanging, bundled hanging has increased girth along the full shaft.

when i hang my head always filss up with a bit or pressure because its low,but im not sure if that means it s taken the pressure
