I see people talking about using infrared lamps and stuff to heat up their dicks while stretching. I have a heating pad, would that work?

How much does heat increase gains?

I use a heating pad and DLD uses one too. I use it first in my morning routine for 10 min. before stretching. That warms up the ligs and gives you a better stretch and overall keeps the cells inside the penis hot which facilitates splitting into other new cells. Also when I am stretching in the SG/VLC Combo, I wrap the heating pad around it all and that also helps a bit to gain extra adjustment especially when combined w/ kegels.

It depends upon the heat of the pad and you would want a cloth of some sort between it and your penis so as not to apply heat directly to the skin.

As for increasing gains, that's not the heat's main purpose. It is intended to soften/loosen the tissue akin to a bodybuilding warm up, reducing potential for injury and thus allowing for a better workout to follow.

Ah ok... so use it for warm-up, but I don't need to hold it in place on the penis while I'm doing the actual stretching?

If this is the case, why do people go through the trouble of buying infra-red lamps? From those posts, I got the impression that they were using infra-red lamps to increase the stretch or gains or something; I think it was a thread about hanging.

i started keeping a heating pad on my cock while hanging about a week ago...love it. the stretch feels more intense with the heat on consistently for me. try both see what makes you feel like you got in the best session.

What kind of heat pads you guys use? Like what's their original purpose? Cause I'm not gonna go in the shop and say: One dick heating pad, please.

The standard ones are really the only pads out there (12"x15"). You can fold them as well and use a strap/velcro to secure them into place over your hanging/extending exercises.
If you're not interested in using them during workouts. You might be better off w/ a microwavable pad (more for quick warm ups/downs).

Those are single use for 8hour durations. Not cost effective.

The luxury of being able to heat with good time put in definitely works to heal faster and keep gains around longer. I use a basic electric heating pad, to keep it in place I wrap my penis as much as I can and pull my pants up over it. Then I will sit with it for a couple hours.

yes that is why i pointed it out when posting the link it is more expensive and said if you can afford it it's worth it. so for me it is cost effective ;)

also going to wear them while wearing my extender out and about town for hours at a time.

Active training with heat will be very gain worthy. I have never tried it but I do know that when I heat for a long time my penis becomes looser, more malleable and stretchable.

I am seeing these same results

Plastic deformation occurs when collagenous tissue is heated to 40-45 degrees Celsius (104-113F) just prior to being stretched.
Collagen is unstable at temperatures just above body temperature.
Collagen types I and IV are predominate in the corpus cavernosum, with type III making up the minority.
Type I and III collagen is present in penile scar tissue, type III collagen is more abundant in tunica of men with Peyronie's plaques.

Then you just look @ the role heat plays on each collagen type and @ what temps.

DLD, do you know the collagen type layers of the tunica? All I find are quotes, but no actual studies.

Thanks. The reason I'm asking this question is I'm trying to figure out under what name they are sold in my country.

Thanks, just found them. Where I'm from they call them "electric pillows". WTF?

dafuq is that shi.

It's nothing like a pillow, but it is electric so I'll give them that.

I would have a hell of a day in your country just being stoned and browsing down the isles of a grocery store looking at the names of shit.
Probably the #1 tourist destination.
