Not if the gains have been cemented. So lets say you have gained 1''. Maybe 1/2'' is in cemented gains so you wouldn't lose that half inch but you would lose the other half.

And what does that mean, cemented? So for every inch i want to keep i need to have gain two inches is what you are saying?

No, gains can be temporary and cemented. Temporary gains over time become cemented. For example- if you use Bathmate and pump for 10 minutes, if you get an expansion of an inch- this is temporary expansion. If you keep this routine up for a few to several months- you will cement the gains and they will stay there forever. Cementing takes time and patience- this is why PE requires time and DEDICATION!! Now, no one can tell you whether your gains are fully cemented or not, but there is a safety 1/2 inch everyone is advised to gain after their final goal to just not lose anything of their final goal. It's purpose is JUST IN CASE if your gains are not cemented- for you not to lose any from you final goal. Example- your dream size is 8 inches, you gain till 8,5 inches, so when you stop and IF your gains are not cemented- you will drop down to 8 and no more. So that way you still have your final goal dream size. Get it? :)

There are actually three types of gains talked about on this site.
1) Temporary gains - Lasting a couple of days at most, these are the immediate gains you get from your PE routine.
2) "Permanent" gains - Lasting much longer, this is the change that remains after the temporary gains are gone. These gains are not, as their name would imply, impossible to lose.
3) Cemented gains - These are the gains that last forever. These usually make up all but about half an inch of your "permanent" gains but everyone is different. They can only be lost if you suddenly start doing something detrimental to your penis like wearing incredibly tight underwear (the reverse of PE).

There is no way to tell how much is cemented without taking a few months off but the general advice is to exceed all goals before half an inch before quitting and to reduce your routine slowly rather that ending it suddenly.

interesting they are called permanent gains when they are not lol...misleading lol

Cementing is the process of making gains permanent.

I agree, though DLD seems to be using the word "permanent" to refer to "cemented" gains now so we might be looking at the dawn of a less confusing era soon.
His recent posts make no distinction between temporary and the old "permanent" so the terminology could still use a little refining IMO.

I tend to keep it as simple as possible:) Temporary gains are a part of the permanent gains process. These measurement will continue to grow relative to each other, so there will always be room to make them permanent while new gains appear. I always have about .5" in girth as temporary and .25" in length no matter how big I have gotten.

I made basically all my gains from gs and have done close to nothing PE wise for a year and it's still the same size. In fact I've been starting to use my bathmate for a few weeks and it's bigger than ever

Good posts. I always wondered why guys said "cemented" gains.

That just means making them permanent. Cementing can be done just by continuing to train past your desired size by a half inch, that would ensure the gain.
