Hey matter of size family. This is my first post and I love the forum. I have a question about the Bathmate X-40 and I apologize if this question has already been asked or answered but this is a big forum.

My question is when you fill the pump with water and when the pressure gets to max where water is not shooting out of the top anymore, do you keep pumping? Or do you allow air to come into the pump so that water can shoot back out again until max pressure?

Thanks a lot guys.

Dont allow air to come back in. Maintain the highest pressure you can achieve without allowing air to come back in. If you want to keep pumping after the water has stopped coming out then get a wine vac for more pressure. Look up wine vac.

When you first start is it best to not fill the water all the way up? Or does it not really matter?

Sorry I forgot to tag you in the question

I fill it all the way up. Takes the guesswork out of it

Yes, fill it all the way up if your in the bath this is easy. If your in the shower, fill it up and move it under your penis and then put in on quickly while losing as little water out of the large end as possible. It takes a little bit of practice.

Question... when you reach full pressure when water is no longer shooting out from the top, do you keep pumping since you're at full pressure? Or can you just basically leave it on your penis without pumping while at full pressure?

Thanks and sorry for the newbie questions, just curious.

At this point you simply leave it on for a while. If you start to loose pressure, simply pump back to max. Your sets should go no longer than 5 minutes so the goal is to get as much expansion during these 5 minutes at which point you should opt to Jelq or Slow Squash Jelq for 5 minutes. These two exercises will greatly benefit one another and bring gains much faster.

Works best if it is erect. Isnt a must have though.

So do you have to get erect before you put on the Bathmate? Or should you start flaccid and then get erect?

I find the best way to get a high pressure with water is hold it with one hand on the release valve pushed in and fill it to the brim with your other hand.
Then while being as erect as you can be i then enter the Bathmate. Water will start overflowing and at that point i let go of the valve and with one motion pump to achieve the highest pressure one can stand.
I know my upper limit so i watch the number on the meter to see when i get there.
It takes some time to get comfortable doing that and it just sounds like you just need time.
So dont get mad if it takes a few weeks to get to the time you can get in and get to your pressure with no air in seconds.
Also you didnt say if you were using heat and stretching before. I use a electric heating pad and use heat for 1 hour before i get into the pump just to be safe to prevent any unwanted damage.
In that hour i do three sets of DLD's stretches holding at least 30 seconds to one minute per stretch.
It may seem like a pain to do that but it really is not because i watch Tv while i have the heat on and every few minutes i do a set of stretches.
That goes along way and makes it safer in the long run .

Get erect then put the Bathmate on is the best option. You can go into it flaccid but you will get more expansion if you go in erect before pumping
