I remember that Bib said something along the lines of you gain while you work while you are sore. Length can be gained from the ligaments and the tunica but girth gains come only from the tunica. My dick is pretty conditioned so it doesn't get sore(I'm only training girth right now) but what I use as a gauge is the size increase the in my erections the next day or X amount of hours after the workout. And then X amount of hours later it goes down to its normal girth. My question is do you think that for making good gains that you have to do your next session while it is somewhat larger? Is it worthless to let the size go back to normal before doing the next workout?

After a very short while your cock no longer gets sore doing girth work. At least I don't. My cock just gets used to the intensity but it's no big deal...doesn't mean that growth isn't happening.

As the tunica expands, just like anything else, the tissues will initially expand to new levels of growth and then immediately try to return to their normal capacities. I say screw that because gains can evaporate quickly.

If I've had a series of good girth workouts where the expansion felt like I was ripping the snot out of my head and under belly then I will notice a major difference in erection size in those locations first and then everywhere else second.

But the key, imo, is to build on the work/effort you've done most recently. The more time that goes by since your last workout, obviously the more rest it gets...but there's a fine line between too much rest and just enough rest.

And then that in itself is gonna depend on just how long your girth sessions are lasting. Samzman was jelqing for an hour and a half sessions with high intensity from what I read...that's really tough to do that every day so he went for 4 sessions per week...I think.

Either way though, short or long sessions, you should not wait too long between workouts.

Its true...I never get sore anymore..and it feels like I'm not doing anything productive....I tell myself this isn't true, that I am doing something. I don't even feel the stretch when I do stretcing routines anymore... ?:(
 
Well I already try to not let too much time go by between workouts. I usually workout every 24 hours and I try to keep it to that number but many times that number will be 30 hours and sometimes as high as 36. I really get pissed at myself. But what I really want to know is do I need to workout while still expanded from the previous workout? Do I have to ride the expansion so to speak?
 
This is why an AM + PM girth workout would/should be so beneficial, maybe even a middle day workout for those truely serious about gaining girth.:cool:

I'm very biased in my viewpoint of your question, so take it with a grain of salt please.

Yes, you should continue to do your girth work while still in the state of expansion from the previous workout.

IMO, gains come in micro-decimals, if there is such a term, and then they don't come everytime we workout. The workout will either cause growth or maintain the growth from the last workout. So that's what you're up against, maintenance or growth.

For me to get growth (and not maintenance), I have to have a high level of intensity. I'm talking about making the balloon feel like it's gonna explode.

Next, I have to have frequency as what blackice posted...am and pm workouts, 7 days per week...Ulistretch's routine. But not every guy wants that schedule but if you were to email the guys who've made the biggest girth gains you'll see a common theme...daily girth sessions of at least 5 days per week.

Off topic a little but if anyone knows the post where DLD discusses the penis being just like a balloon, please direct me to it. I've looked and searched and cannot find it. It's possibly one of the absolute best posts I've ever read pertaining to the simplicity of growth in our cocks because of its' design.

Something you or blackice posted the other day got me to thinking and as a result, my uli's are very, very productive. I just started this so I can't say it's the end all be all but...throughout the jelq process of my workout I'm stopping the jelqing part and doing a "hold" with an overhand okay grip.

I will kegel then grip my cock real tight near the base then let go for a split second and kegel again...repeating this process for about 4 to 6 good kegels.
