in the past when i got hooked on adult entertainment i started ejaculating faster because of the excitement and quick masterbation technique
at some point a few years ago i became very good at kegels and reverse kegels. that's where the whole control thing started for me. from there on i developed extra techniques and here they are:
1. so the kegels i mostly used as a warm-up girth and eq exercise. BUT then i discovered that i loved holding kegels and edging. and since i wanted to edge longer because of the great feeling, i gradually learned to back off stimulating glans and below-glans and also too much stroking before PONR.
2. next i learned through experimentation a way to stop PONR right at its beginning. basically I do a TUCK CRUNCH when i feel i stimulated too far and felt that initial urge of PONR. the muscles during that crunch completely subdue the sensation. this is in a seated position u basically do a stomach crunch forward and lift knees to chest. it doesn't have to be full range of motion, even half way works for me. then i ease off for a bit, could be 15secs, 30secs, whatever, and then continue.
3. similar to 1 and 2, know when to back off and relax for a bit. overstimulating the urge to cum from any variety of ways is what needs to be controlled. u have to KEEP the mindset that u will not ejaculate. so that means controlling the urge from a variety of maneuvers: how u stroke, how much u stimulate the glans, not doing too much at once like holding a kegel while almost at PONR. holding the kegel is more useful before the PONR. at PONR it will actually trigger the ejaculation.. so these are some of the little things to learn through practice. they become intuitive and almost automatic once u practice more
