also worth noting that multiple giving the same answer to a question can be much more helpful than a single person giving that advice. think of it like reviews, a product with a lot of similar good reviews is going to be bought more than one with just one review

the one down side of forums though is it's almost necessary for things to be repeated regularly b/c searching stuff is often very difficult. what you may want answered might be on the 32nd page of some thread that is loosely connected what you're trying to find out

Repetition is part of the mechanics of a forum. New guys will need things explained that become buried and many do not know ho two use the search engines. I have no problem repeating myself if it goes to help someone who needs it.
