There is an interview that Jaz did with mandingo. I have not been able to find it, but hopefully one of you guys will trace it down because it's a very good interview. And yes, he did penis enlargement, especially hanging, and, the lengthmaster.

That's the video that was housed through Amazon media server and we lost that account. Not side who it belong to. There were 39 videos from that media server.

We have lost so many vital info.
 
Wasn't Lightning the main admin a few years ago? He might have done offline backups. Does anyone have access to the stuff he left after he passed away?

Even if a backup is years old, it looks like it's the older stuff that MOS lost the most of.

Archive.org has some of MOS saved. But it's really, really slow. [visions of a creaky robotic arm picking through reels on a shelf, jerkily stabbing a paper tape into a reader connected to a Commodore 64...] Unfortunately it looks like the DVD videos were in the "member's only" section.

Yes, he was. However, the backups were used. The last completed one was 2017 (without videos and pictures). All the backups there after were spotty at best, roughly 8 to 9 months apart.

The prior person in charge of the records did not backup properly. Between 2017 and June of 2024, post records were all over the place. It was like reading a Swiss cheese forum. Brother SIM did his best trying to keep the posts organized on a very old and outdated platform, full of errors. I was surprised it was still running with that many issues.

Based on database counts, there were at least 150K posts lost that could not be salvaged. Among the remaining lost records since 2004, 7K critical posts were recovered. Among the hacks and forced deletions were the collective of routines. There were so many more routines that were lost. DLD, if he wants to, can fill in the gaps on what happened. Even my posts from my old accounts were lost. Nearly 60K registered members were also deleted or failed to be salvaged. You probably see posts with some brothers' unique names but there are no records about them.

If you can point me to the specific records on Archive.org, I'll reintegrate them back into the posts as recovered posts. I believe I managed to only salvage 210 or so posts from various locations along with SIM. Videos housed elsewhere were lost. No backup anywhere. When the server was hacked several times and it required reinstallation, those videos and images were lost as well.

I will have her check and see if there's some hard drives she hasn't looked at yet. Knowing jez, he made four backups, and it could just be sitting there waiting for us. I pray to Jesus we find them before the GQ article comes out

First someone would have to know that they were lost to start with, then go looking for them specifically. It might be worth contacting the admins at archive.org to see if they are willing to make a downloadable file of what they have.

You've done a heroic job of assembling all the broken pieces back into a working forum. I'm just exercising my constitutional right to stand on the sidelines telling you what you know already.

Too late for that. There's no better job than the job Oldandlively has done. Slowly, but surely we're getting back so much information, we lost. And that which we can't replace, we will eventually remake.

I still have a lot of confidence that Sheena may still have these files on backup on a hard drive. She has not looked at yet. If this be the case, we'll be able to get back everything we lost.
 
If we can collectively pull all the files from the hard drives and media we still have, I think we can salvage quite a bit. Archive.org went through a loss of their own. The admins are searching for the remnants of what we have right now. Not sure how much of that will be salvageable.
