That is a different idea that I have never heard, training 10 on 2 off. It sounds like it could be a good concept.
 
Ya the 10 on 2 off has been working great for me. The intensity of my routine merits more time due to my conditioning. There are times when even one day off is all I need. It's amazingly wonderful how the penis adapts to external stresses. My unit is healthy and strong, ha...just this morning my wife's leg ( inner thigh ) was resting on my morning wood and when I would kegel her leg would rise off my pelvis by like an inch. Now I have a pneumatic air jack in my pants.
