Electric shock to increase penial blood flow

I am a 74 year old guy with ED. Fifteen years ago my wife and I were quite sexually active. She decided she wanted me to have a larger penis so, like most guys, I thought that it was a great idea. I started messing with Penis Enlargement. I tried a number of different types of mechanical stretch devises and succeded in fracturing my penis. Then I tried jelking and some other exersises porported to enlarge my penis. I even hung five pounds of lead from the tip of my penis for hours. All this hard work finally gave me a some what larger size. My flacid length increased to 5.5" with a girth of 3.75" from the original 3"/2.5". Before, erect I was 6" long with 3.5" girth. I achieved a gain to 7.5" erect with a 5" girth. As times passed I ended up with ED. Now an erection is only a dream. I was in a car accident a year ago and started using a tens device to help heal the muscles in my back, which really worked. Using the tens felt so good, I wondered how it would feel on my penis. I found that it felt wonderful and that, after about thirty minutes of intense pleasure, I could get an unbelievable orgasim. My tens device has five settings three of which ramp up and down in varying degrees intensity. I noticed as it ramped up my penis became partially erect and would go back down as it ramped down. As ejaculation came closer and closer, my penis became more erect until I achieved an almost full erection and then ejaculated. Ramping up evidently was increasing blood flow in my penis. The idea came to me that the use of electrical penial stimulation theropy might be a way to permanately increase blood flow to the penis. I checked Google and found this is a cutting edge method to help ED sufferers. Several successful studies have already been made with rats and one with fifty courageous men. At the end of the research 80% of the men were able to go back to normal sexual activity and about 15% had a noticable increase in penial blood flow. I am now experimenting with type of theropy in hopes that an erection will be a reality in my life again. Does anyone on this forum know of this type of theropy or has been involved with electrical stimulation of the penis?

Very interested in this and we have been talking about this in the form of a healing tool. There is definite benefit to a certain amount of electric current effecting the blood flow.

I have only started electric shock theropy on my penis and haven't seen much change as yet. Also I have an slightly enlarged prostate. The meds I take for this has reduced the amount of sperm I ejaculate to almost nothing. I tried using the tens device on my testicles while I did my penial electric theoropy. I placed one pad on the scotum near each testicle. I have to be careful not to use to high of a setting because it can be quite painful but the feeling is enjoyable. I have only done this twice. Last night I had an ejaculation and produced a much larger amount of sperm. It looks like shock theropy of the testicles is doing something positive.

Sounds very interesting. I can definitely see electric shock therapy being a great healing agent but I'm not sure how it would effect a penis that is not "damaged" but experiencing ED problems. I suppose it would depend on the cause of the ED. Wheels have you checked with your urologist on what might be the cause of your ED?

When looking at erectile dysfunction you look at:

1. Vascular reasons (hypertension, arterial narrowing, diabetes, heart disease in general)
2. Neural problems (problems with nerves, parkinsons, MS, spinal injury, stroke, diabetes can affect nerves as well)
3. Hormonal Reasons (low testosterone lvls, overactive thyroid, underactive thyroid, cushings syndrome - affects the production of cortisol from the adrenals)
4. Anatomical reasons (peyronies)
5. Drugs (lots of them e.g antidepressants, nicotine are the most common but there are ALOt more - google them)
6. Recreational drugs
7. Of course psychological as well.

Considering the electric shocks have an effect on your penis means your nerves are most likely fine. Its very important to do all the investigations to find the cause of your ED first, before trying treatments.

This what the research is all about. So far now negative results have been noticed. Like I have already mentioned, this research is new field. According to the doctors involved in this reseach the only possible damage is burning of the skin. Electric shock has been used for well over a century for muscle theropy. If you will remember, the penis is also a muscle. As for causes of ED, like you mention there are a miriad of factors involved. Aging men all suffer from loss of testosterone which is actually the major cause of ED and other aging problems such as osteoperosis, wrinkling of the skin, loss of body hair, prostate enlargement, etc.

I hope no one flames me for this but you could get testosterone replacement therapy at your age.

I have been trying to get my doctors to prescribe testosterone theropy for years because of my ED. Doctors tend to shy away from perscribing testosterone because of supposed negative effects on the prostate and some other obscure effects. About three years ago I was diagnosed with osteoperosis. My doctor perscribed Fosomax to help harden my bones. I took it for about six months. I was going in for foot surgery about that time. The orthopedic surgeon called me and told me to stop taking Fosomax immediately because it makes the bones brittle like a pretzle and will stop the healing proccess of my foot after the surgery. I did a short study study of Fosomax and found, that a number of people taking Fosomax, have had their femur break in middle of the bone causing some very bad problems as the bones a reluctant to heal properly. While studying osteoperosis, I found out that loss of testosterone in men is what causes male osteoperosis and that testosterone theropy will reverse osteoperosis in men. I renewed my pressure on the doctors to give me testosterone theropy two years ago. So far they just haven't responded. Also, testosterone theropy doesn't neccesarily do anything for ED of loss of libedo.

Same here in Australia a ordinary doctor won't scribe testosterone BUT! A anti ageing clinic will easy give it to you,the level of test is not to high like for body building it's for anti ageing but it may be a bit pricey.
Wouldn't testosterone give you a higher libido? Give you erections?

No flame whatsoever! I think it is an amazing science that we have access to that allows for such a wonderful therapy. There are just some things that require the extra help. I wish all things sexual could be corrected through pe but the facts are some things need the attention of medication or a good doctors help.
 
Years ago the ROP was one the things I messed around with. I tried to make one myself but it didn't work. After reading some of the threads on this forum, I ordered one last week. I received in Saturday's mail and immediately put it on. That night something happened that hasn't happened in a long time. I actually had three different erections. They weren't full erections but they were there. It felt wonderful! It looks like the ROP is doing something that is positive.

In answer to 8incyclops's question - That is the popular consensis but according to my doctor it depends on the that particular person's reaction. Testosterone can actually shrink the testicles.

This is an absolutley astounding procedure!!!!!! It is so simple and takes onlly minutes! The problem is that it isn't yet available in all states. My health provider hands out Viagra. Why wouldn't they privide a procedure that needs no further costs?

TENS devices are pretty common way to get into electrical stimulation. I have one and have used it to get the most powerful orgasms I have ever felt. Can't say it does too much for enlarging though
