As everyone who is hitting the gym lifting weights and training in generall is noticing a turtling of the penis because of the muscles that flex during this time.

I am hitting the gym 5 times a week and i have the feeling that the turtling in the gym hurts my gains. What should I do or wear to avoid this? Some say [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] wrap some others say AB silicone sleeve. Any experience you guys?

The thing is, turtling affects you very very little so don't worry about it. Once you shower just make sure it hangs and you're all good. Don't let that mind set of having turtling affect your size or gains.

Really gym is turtling your dick?Never heard about this,i'm going to the gym a few times a week and i still gained.

but aim.....whats the hassle in wrapping ??? it takes like 2 mins to wrap in total and thats it your done.....

Do you ever work out? Try lifting heavy weights, running, or swimming for an hour and see how well you're hanging. If you still have a good flaccid during and immediately after intense exercise then you must be blessed or something. 'Cause that shit causes shrinkage like Peter Dinklage.

Then you must have a big ass flaccid to begin with. I don't know man. I know mine is hanging much better from all this pe. I'm usually around 5 inches flaccid nowadays. But I still get some slight shrinkage when I work out. I sneak some quick pulls every once in a while though.

Yea you can feel that pressure but i don't think that's a kegel.
 
Mine shrinks as well, just like I jumped into a pool. I used to wear those X-sleeves or [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] wrap and really worry about it but now I say Fuck it. It's easier to focus on what I'm doing in the gym and having a stronger more athletic body will do more for your dick than trying to prevent turtling for 2 hours out of the day
 
For me:
underwear = turtling
No underwear = no turtling

I've stoped wearing underwear like 2-3 months ago and since then no turtling at all...

Last night i was going out with a girl and i got underwear just i case i get a random boner at the first date ( LOL ) and after a few hours when i went to pee my dick was turtled like fuck..it was like 2 inch :(

When you work out for about 45 min your body produces more and more testosterone, but after those forty five minutes your test levels come to a halt, and cortisol(opposite of testosterone) levels begin to rise. Next time you train try only going until you have that adrenaline rush you get from heavy lifting ,and when that goes away you can stop to check how your flaccid is doing.

It's strange because I've been going commando for 10 years and I still get shrinkage/turtling despite not wearing any underwear. It shrivels up to 3.5 inches, although my flaccid can get up to 5-6 inches when there's a bit of blood circulation going. I would rule out diseases in the study, unless you want to suggest that every man who turtles has an unknown disease that doctors haven't found out through blood tests while those without the problem don't have it.

Things like "Do you drink coffee? And if so, how much per day?" would work, but then you'd have to ask them about decaf and caffeinated beverages. Just rule out all the possible causes of the shrinkage or common things that would cause temporary shrinkage (jumping in cold water, anxiety) and find the common thing that men who don't turtle have and those who turtle don't.

Mine turtles or at least doesn't hang very well whenever I'm doing any type of athletic activity: lifting, playing basketball, etc. I think it's fairly obvious that it does this because blood is rushing elsewhere. Filling my muscles or pumping all over my body, rather than just hanging out in my flaccid penis to give it a thick long hang.

Except I mentioned in my previous post that I haven't worn underwear in 10 years and I still turtle. You can't write off turtling as something that happens depending on whether or not you're wearing clothing, there's gotta be something else behind the madness.

I was at the gym today and had virtually no turtling whatsoever. I credit it to wearing my phallogenetics/phallosan plus all the active pe I've been doing as well. Matter of fact I almost never have a small flaccid anymore like I used to. This shit is awesome!

and im not a gym person myself....i like outdoor workout like parkour , free style etc.....with that you can learn more things about your body and get sexy body at same time......you learn cordination , reaction timing improve , precision , etc and new thing everyday ........so you learn something and get body ...
gyming is same thing but only getting good body not learning something

I am the same way but I just can't get myself motivated so a gym membership would be something I would use because I hate wasting money. I have lost s0me weight though over the past two weeks but I am going to wait for AIM to guess how much:)

ya being around people is alot of motivation and fun too.....doing it alone gets boring...
right now i am working out alone i get sick of it sometimes and skip workout....will go to a gymnasium soon

I did not even consider the social part of it...now I feel scared to get a membership:) I am very agoraphobic and it takes me some time to get through my fears and go somewhere new. But, I have been getting stronger and stronger and feeling more able to do things out of the norm. I hope I can make this work.

although dont EVER make a diet....all u need is to eat healthy,,,,,that doesnt mean healthy food taste shit....u have to make it tasty.....
my diet plans never worked......so i eat what i want but NO SUGAR NO PROCESSED AND NO OILY FOOD ....thats all that i avoid and eat everything......
relace sugar with honey , chips with popcorn , and oil is essential but use olive oil.....

whenevr i see i havent eaten in the past 2 hours ....i randomly start running on the spot like CRAZY for a minute or so....it feels amazing and throughout the day a workout is going on......

You are so right! When I was counting every calorie and making sure they were all from proteins it just drove me nuts and all I did was gain weight. My new diet has been eating healthy from all food groups, taking the pressure off myself, and it paid off:)
