In my opinion women are becoming more comfortable with their sexuality and that in itself brings out what they feared would get them a labeled by others in the past. Now that it's more commonplace I think more women are open to express preferences in what they want.
In my experience with women I've found the ones who are more goal oriented, old fashioned ... are the ones who seem to make size a non-issue.
