Hey guys,

I've been following Dashdeming's Hardcore Hanging method, hanging 20 mins a day for about 8 months now. I am up to 20 lbs currently. I gained around 0.75 inches total following this method of hanging. I've been thinking a lot lately and have been reading Bib's posts. He talks a lot fatigue and that your best gains come from when you are riding the fatigue. I've been thinking about switching from "hardcore hanging" to lower weights and more sets due to the fact that hanging has become so uncomfortable as I go up in weight that it's unbearable. The fact that I'm uncut, makes it 100 times worse. I think I'm done with high weights and will focus on more time instead. I was using the Bib Starter (great product), but I'm also going to be purchasing the LG Hanger as I've read that it's ideal for uncut guys. For me it's all about comfort. I'm also going to be doing some extender healing (purchased my VLC Tugger).

So my question would be:

Can you decondition your ligaments just by stopping hanging? How long should I take a break for so that I can reach fatigue at lower weights?

Also, can I use an extender in the meantime since it is a low force method?

Thanks

Condition ligaments? Does that mean to stretch them out and, toughen/loosen?
Unbearably uncomfortable in the ligaments? In that case coast on ur soreness comfortably; while staying intense. Don't worry about losing progress cuz I don't think a little break would do u wrong

I'm not sure of the timetable on this. Most people just hang and don't think about the science behind it. Even the more advanced hangers probably don't dig that deep into it.

Most people get to the point where they condition their ligs so much that they do more tunica targeting styles of hanging. One of the main ones being talked about more is bundled stretches/hanging.

I would try to get in touch w/ bib and see what his theory is behind time off. That's if you think you've exhausted gains w/ your current routine and that changing it wont yield better results. It all seems like a guessing game to be honest.

You might even get in touch w/ the people @ LG. They seemed pretty well versed on hanging from what I have read around here and on other forums. As long as their opinions are not surrounded by them wanting to sell you on their product(s).

To answer your question though: Yes. How much? I have no clue. Time-frame in which you should take off? No clue either.

Tighten/conditioning & Loosen/de-conditioning.

Doesn't mean that taking time off (de-conditoning breaks) will yield better results when you go back to hanging.

Thanks for the reply guys. I remember when I took a 2-3 month break from hanging, I went from being able to handle 24 lbs to only being able to hang 15 lbs. As you go up in weight, the more it beats up your glans. I couldn't handle it anymore and "hardcore hanging" requires you to go up in weight. I was never reaching fatigue because I would only hang 20 mins then be done. Now I honestly believe that more time is definitely the key to hanging as my penis didn't go like crazy as I believed it would from heavy weights. After all, this isn't bodybuilding. Last week I hung 5 sets and for the first time I felt fatigue. First set was 20 lbs then by the time I got to my last set, my penis could only handle 12 lbs.

You might stop for a month then carry on using the LG hanger if you get one. I agree as well that long time under tension seems to be key.
You can also ride out a fatiguing set better w/ the LG since it's not as constricting and there is no need to take it off like the bib.

Do you hang w/ a heating pad or some type of heating device? I would probably add that to your routine if you can handle the cost of doing that.

Yeah in the meantime I'll be using the LengthMaster and wearing my modified extender with the VLC Tugger. What weight do you think I should start hanging at once I get the LG Hanger? My concern is that low weights won't give me fatigue. Or does fatigue have to do more with time? No I didn't use any heating pad/device. I just used some theraband, ace wrap, and my Bib. With vacuum hangers, how often should you increase the weight?

I'm not hanging ATM nor do I have a LG hanger. I only keep track of routines for beginning hanging.

If you're currently already @ a set weight where you can't go higher, you can probably do that same weight w/ the LG. As long as you're currently not having problems w/ the 20min intervals.

I would send a email to the people @ LG and see what they recommend.

"Regarding constructive weight patterns, it is essential that you build up to fatigue inducing weight causing the collagen to remodel, after you've had sufficient experience with the LG hanger, the pattern goes like this, start off with a warm up weight of say around seven or 8 pounds then you incrementally build up over five, 10, 15 minutes to your fatigue level where you have reached your maximum level of wearing weight and cannot wear anymore weight less say that's might be 15 pounds. This is where the action starts it causes the molecular separation at the febrile level, followed by collagen remodeling, sometimes the word deformation is used. After this has occurred you may begin to start pulling back on the weight simply to keep the penis in the extended state. Wearing a light weight for a long time does absolutely nothing, you must have this Bell shaped curve in weight progression and then pull back. This is a scientific fact and has been proven by numerous studies. It is somewhat analogous to having a rope that is 100 pound test rope, and applying 50 pounds 24 seven. What you basically get is a clothes line. While collagen is a biological tissue it is comparable enough to be compared to a rope, however the rope does not repair itself by remodeling. I hope that sheds light on the weight patterns required for gains."

The above is a quote I kept in a log from the guy @ LG. Those are his words above.

Routines are so back and forth about what people recommend. Like I said, you should email the people @ LG. They supposedly have/had their own beta testers make gains on their own recommendations. You might find that their recommendations are very different to what you might find on the forums/ETC.

This is the big boy of all length tools! The LengthMaster rocks and you will see an amazing difference in stretching.

Yeah it should be here tomorrow! I've been watching videos on it and it looks amazing how many different types of stretches you can do. Plus the fact that you're able to use both of your hands and exert twice as much force makes it even better! On the other hand, the VLC is a piece of crap! It stretches nothing but skin so it was a waste of money.

I have been a supporter of the VLC for awhile... But I am starting to change my mind on it. I think I am starting to agree more with you. It looks like it's giving a great stretch, but I can actually feel how the glans sinks down a bit and it just stretches the skin (even though it claims not to because there is no vent hole)

Please let us know your reviews on the LengthMaster. You will absolutely love it!
