I'm also curious to know what a one week break from PE would be like. If I take one week off from doing any PE, will I lose my gains?

You won't lose the gains that have already cemented; gains that are underway could diminish a little bit. But one week isn't that much, really. I haven't had bad loss of gains despite several longer breaks due to skin breakouts and whatnots.

It is as long the break is within a limit; don't let that one week grow to another, then a month ... Taking time to inhale and relax is important, but one must focus on the process!
Whenever I had to take a physical break, I wouldn't take so much of mental break; I'd read threads on MoS and soak up in information.
I'm basically repeating myself once again here. :)

A break here or there, as long as it stays as a short one, is fine. And of course people have surgeries and such but still return to PE without big losses of gains.

Excellent advice Ark! So glad you are posting again, I missed your presence!

I've been on a long break myself and now getting back to it. I know everyone is different but I'm really hoping that in a week when I start using the LM and BM again that I explode in gains like I did when I first got them. It would be amazingly awesome and I've got my fingers crossed it happens but won't be devastated if it doesn't.

Reconditioning my skin to all the pulling again is painful. It almost hurts as much as the possible loss of gains I could have gotten if I wouldn't have been forced into a break. Oh well, only 2 ways to go from here - longer and thicker!

Lost gains do come back within the first month of training

I lost almost nothing. The last month I was actively training it was tapering down from 5-6 days a week down to 1-2. The slow down in training was due to life going on and it seemed to lock in my gains. I got lucky and I'm happy for it.

Nothing like knowing your gains are there for good! Do you plan to go beyond on the low?

I'm getting back into it and still have a 7.5-8" BPEL goal in my head or when my wife tells me she's seen the benefits of PE and that I'm on the verge of being too big and to stop.

Not a bad verge to be on :)

since our gains are so incremental, my SO seems to be expanding in lock-step to my growth...no matter how much I've gained, I'm always able to reach her back wall and rub against it, but I was able to to that at 7 1/2" too

One very lucky man you are

I'm hoping my goal and her depth are one and the same.

A woman deciding on this :)

It's more like Kelly Bundy thinking about Rocky and Bullwinkle (they did that in one episode when she was "thinking").

If I have to be up super early that show is usually playing on some channel. Keeps the morning wood going far longer than usual.

I am doing almost no PE every year during the summer break (1.5 months). Zero losses but new maximum BPFSL measurements one week after restarting PE.
